Since making his debut on FunkinEven's Apron Records back in 2014, Adam Feingold has delivered releases under his own name for Temple and 1080p. Here he returns to the latter imprint, serving up the first 12" under the Ex-Terrestrial alias. By and large, it's head-in-the-clouds stuff, with dreamy synths and bubbling drum machine rhythms recalling the ambient house and intelligent techno boom of the early-to-mid '90s. Highlights come thick and fast, from the bongo-laden, new age deep house warmth of "Paraworld", and seductive ambient bliss of "Dreams Of Jupiter" (similar in feel to last year's Slow Riffs 12" on Mood Hut), to the pitched-down hardcore breaks and Pete Namlook chords of "Blue Smoke".
