American hardcore punk band Fear's debut album The Record is one of the many thousand special releases during this year's Record Store Day. For the occasion it gets reissued as a limited 140 gram marbled vinyl album that also includes a special red 7" and art stencil. Produced by Gary Lubow and rebased in 1982 by Slash Records, is it widely regarded as the band's best work and a classic of the LA scene of the era. Punk through and through from its lyrics which are puerile and offensive, to the music with is all about thrashing guitars and powerful drum work, it its exciting and impressive to this day.
