|1.||"Handle With Care" (A Friendly & Forgetful edit)|
|1.||"Direct Hit" (A Foolish & Friendly edit)|
|2.||"Jungle Warfare" (A Foolish edit)|
The phrase "good things come to those who wait" springs to mind with regards this second release on Recycled Records, which sees a second Foolish, Friendly and Forgetful transmission some 16 years after the debut. The alter egos of Felix Dickinson and celebrated record dealers Nick The Record and Mark Eagling respectively, you can forgive this trio for being so tardy in a second Recycled 12" given their busy schedules. Even those with edit burn-out will be tempted by this 12", not least for "Handle With Care", the flange heavy A Side edit from Friendly & Forgetful that has remained a much requested staple of Nick The Record's DJ sets for some five years. It's not hard to see why, ripping through several glorious movements with the kind of panache absent from many modern attempts at the edit craft. A near perfect disco tweak is complemented by two more excellent examples on the flip, the Foolish and Friendly crafted acid rippler "Direct Hit" and Dickinson's spinal chugger "Jungle Warfare".
