Gurevitsch could make a nylon string weep at 20 paces, such is his finger picking charm. Here we find him delivering two immaculate instrumentals where the background rhythm is simply a backbone for his spell-binding playmanship. "Mexican Margarita" is a frenzy of emotion and Latin passion while "Mapa De Soledad" is a much more subdued, emotional affair where Jacob's picking is complemented by perfectly accordion and blues harp leads. Remix-wise Tonovi (who previously remixed Jacob on MFD a few years back) adds a dubby, synth-shimmering twist while Len Leise ensures the Balearic factor of Jacob's skill is brought to a zenith with sandy toed charm.
