Follwing the debut "Selectors Assemble", Bruk's brand new chapter continues with the genre's spiritual HQ CoOp returning to wax. As promised by IG Culture last year, the label will be a haven for brand new talent pushing the genre and movement with new momentum and ideas. So far so true: each of the six tracks smacks with freshness and new ideas ranging from the late night percussion fire and toxic bass of EVM128's "Gammer Riddim" to the subverted UKG shakes and sasses via Entek's "Robbery". Elsewhere we have a sweet jazzy house hybrid from James Rudie in the form of "Port Funk" and deep down and sultry refix of Miraa May from the bossman and Phountzi's longstanding NameBrandSound project. A perfect label relaunch. The CoOp is officially open.
