Following a fine first outing last year, the Deep Inspiration crew presents a second volume of their Family Things series of compilation style EPs. Jan Kincl kicks things off with 'Daylight You Are My', a sunset-ready chunk of gently jazzy deep house bliss that's subsequently turned into an even more warming and colourful dancefloor roller by Motor City house legend Alton Miller. Over on side B, Brad P lends a hand on Wolford Heifer's superb 'Odd Socks', an analogue-rich slab of deep house breeziness featuring fluttering flute sounds aplenty, while Benklawk and Mabutana's 'Damage Control' is an ultra-deep, pitched-down treat for Beatdown fanatics and early evening warm-up sets.
