American DJ, producer and drummer Jonathan Meyer takes the opportunity to show off his professional kit skills on the new Many Things EP on Kerri Chandler's Madhouse. A-Side "Toms Over" does as its title suggests, with immense tom drums cascading across the old skool flavoured bass and tinges of brass. Label owner and all-round legend Chandler takes his twenty years of experience and puts them to work on his remix. Cutting and sharp, Chandler's dominant kick and stabby bass mark his version out as the 12"s finest moment. On the flip, "Back Zone" dons a retro bassline, dashing piano chords and string line that result in a powerful cut. Lastly, "Echoes" sees syncopated, spacious live drums from Meyer holding their own amongst an uplifting house vibe.
