It's been five years since Keizan's Uchronia album first landed, but only now does it come on vinyl. Limited to 250 copies by German label S!X, it has been specially mastered for vinyl by Julian Naaf akaJulian Convex and is a freewheeling record that skips through myriad styles, from gypsy swing to big band beats, scratch-riddled hip hop to jazzy instrumentals. This multi-instrumental, colourful and magpie approach to making tracks lends the album a real sense of dynamism and diversity that means it races by and always reveals more on each new listen.
