If you're a fan of skewed modern soul, dusty nu-jazz and slipped MPC beats, you should already be familiar with the work of Klinke Auf Cinch, AKA Clemens Kynast. The beat-maker has previously released two fine studio albums and a smattering of similarly impressive singles. Four marks his return after a three-year absence, and is every bit as rich, loose and dreamy as you'd expect to be. We're particularly enjoying the hazy, trumpet-laden hip-hop soul of "Tett" and the jazz-fuelled broken beat excursion "Keen" - all spacey synths, slick vocals and strange time signatures - but the slow, sensual and emotion-rich "CLSR" is also inspired.
