After some needed rest it's time to return with another duet. This time from our favorite Kompakt tag-teamers Michael Mayer & Reinhard Voigt. "Transparenza" is the name of their latest work from our two chief-ravers. The name proclaims the program at hand. "Transparenza" takes on that good old Gallop-techno-beat ala Love Parade in 1993. With some divine wit, they bring it right up to 2006. Call it a bellowing proclamation derived from the ancient times come forth from the mouth of the "Siren Of One Thousand Promises" as it echoes over the Army of the Joyous Warriors, leading them into the blood red Sunset. On the flip, Kompakt Extra welcomes a newcomer, Davidovitch from Lausanne in Switzerland. "Cellophane" is an enticing and fascinating, strange tech-house-beat based track. Remarkably surprising. And why? Amidst that oh so well known chord, techy beat that we all love, he adds intense soundscapes and psychedelic vocal snippets. Yes indeed - what an amazing track.
