Timescale EP vinyl

Fachwerk main man Mike Dehnert is back on Echocord Colour and this would mark his fifth release for the label with the Timescale EP. The label has clearly given Dehnert the opportunity to experiment with more restrained and dubbier sounds than heard on his other imprints such as MD2 or Colombage. On the A side we've got the steely bare bones jack of "Star Base' and the anthemic raw house of "MD 100" with its hands in the air string melody and relentless thump and shuffle just made to set dancefloors alight this Summer. On the flip is the sinister and aquatic dub techno of "Somewhere" this one absolutely sick with its creepy and flanged vocal samples lurking beneath rusty and minimal drum arrangements and lazily infectious dub chords.
