Having recently struck out on his own, Ob Ignitt joins forces with Detroit pal Omar-S for the first time since 2012's seminal Wayne County Hill Cops Part 2 12". On the A-side, Ob offers Omar-S "My Last Reese Cup". There's little peanut butter goodness to be found, but rather a chunky, snare-heavy breakbeat house groove, spacey atmospherics and a seriously chunky bassline. On the flip, Omar-S gives his interpretation of "Let It Do What It Takes", with sweet, darting electronics and deep house textures complimenting a typically Motor City flavoured house groove. Impressively, it also boasts a surging sub bass line that sounds particularly booming on club soundsystems.
