Libertine Records loves a good collaboration. All of the label's releases to date have either been multi-artist affairs, or contained tracks that bring together a numerous members of their production roster. They've opted to follow the same blueprint on Libertine 004. They begin with the weirdo-Italo/lo-fi EBM/dusty analogue techno thrust of Onur's "Hcore", before allowing Etienne the chance to combine speaker-shaking bass, bleep style electronics and hustling house rhythms on the impressive "Ruhso". Finally, regular collaborators Yoshi and Saverio Celestri join forces once more on "Revolt", a suitably rough-and-ready fusion of bustling drum machine hits, winding synth melodies and semi-discordant electronic noises.
