The System Errors label branches out with a new series here, but there are absolutely no prizes for guessing what Party Bombs Volume 1 is about. Oshana kicks things off with a nice throwback techno sound that is fulsome and fast but with plenty of funk. DJ Stroboscope immediately steals the show with his 'Party Bass,' which combines backward bass stabs with 2-step tinged percussion, naught vocals and a generally over-the-top sense of dance floor fun. The flip side features the nimble neon lights and the glossy electronic house of 'Hall 46' and a rave-tinged piano banger from Magic Doz to close out. Useful tackle for sure.
