Here's something to get excited about: a first collaboration between two of the techno scene's most unique producers, scene stalwarts Paula Temple and Eotrax chief Eomac. As you'd expect, neither of the two tracks is what you'd call "standard techno". In fact, we found A-side "Gestirn", where poignant, occasionally melancholic lead lines dance across a lo-fi, broken techno rhythm, rather emotionally stirring. Flipside "Kralle" is an altogether heavier affair - a pounding techno jack-track powered by densely layered, tribal style percussion and some seriously mind-altering, alien-sounding riffs. It's pretty chilling, all told, but also muscular and thrillingly intense.
