DEMENT3D first surfaced in 2011 with a 12" from French trio DSCRD. This was followed by two heady EPs from Polar Inertia, a DSCRD remix EP featuring rearrangements from Lucy and Polar Inertia, and now Polar Inertia Remixed. Silent Servant takes on "Major Axis", which sees Juan Mendez return to a sound first heard on Santiago Salazar's Historia y Violencia label - only darker, while well executed distortion makes Francois X's remix of "The Last Vehicle" all the more despondent, but equally pleasurable. Finally, mysterious deep techno act Abdulla Rashim delivers some penetrating and sinister Giorgio Gigli undertones to the EP with his remix to "Black Sun".
