Launched late last year, the Something Happening Somewhere (or SoHaSo for the acronym fans out there) label from Trouw resident Nuno dos Santos delivers perhaps it's most high profile release yet with this four tracker from Presk. Pieter Willems output as Presk has generally dressed to impress (try saying that five times in a row) since he first emerged on Ten Thousand Yen back in 2011, and the current iteration of his bass heavy sound is wedged in the floor ready crawl space between house and techno. There is a notable confidence to his productions on Babou, which apparently "explore the specific relationships with linear structures".
