Ray Mono has gone from resident DJ at Leeds' much loved Mono_Cult parties to one of minimal and tech house's most consistent performers. His drums are always super tight and the way he embellishes them is a masterclass in subtlety. The four he offers up here continue in that tradition, with 'Blackjack' pairing nice fluid drums and bass with the deftest of sci-fi sound designs to heighten the trip. 'By Night' is a little more raw and ragged but still locks you into a linear groove that you will not want to leave. 'Changes' is a dubbed out and fleshy tune that keeps on pulling you in and 'Copacetic' gets more freaky for those playful after hours.
