You shouldn't underestimate the positive impact of Prins Thomas' Full Pupp label on the electronic music scene in Norway. Having introduced the world to the likes of Todd Terje, Skatebard and Blackbelt Andersen back in the mid noughties, the label continues to offer opportunities to previously unknown Norwegian space disco producers. Tarjei Nygard is one of those producers. He made his debut on the imprint last year, and here lays down another impressive chunk of hard-edged, synth-laden, analogue-influenced Nordic disco - all arpeggio bass, twinkling electronic melodies and steadfast grooves. Tarjei himself delivers a sweaty, carnival-friendly remix built around tough Latin percussion, while Prins Thomas transforms the track into a classic chunk of wide-eyed Scandolearic brilliance
