Sydney edit maestro The Owl inaugurates his new vinyl series in spectacular fashion after making a name for himself on SoundCloud over the last few years. Fans will be glad to know that his superb re-splice of "Feel Good" by J.R. Funk & The Love Machine has finally seen the light of day on wax, as well as a brilliant job of taking the razor to Curtis Mayfield's "Toot" that's equally worthy of your attention. On the flip, Aretha Franklin's classic "Rock Steady" gets a good dose of functionality that's perfect for bringing the house down at 2 AM (or even later!) while closing out the release in wicked style is his edit of a certain digger's delight by Tony Orlando, 1978's "(Don't) Let Go".
