'Luvely', out on Mouthwatering, is the soulful, rock-electronica tune, built on a strong hip-hop foundation from the Tape vs. RQM. The intro gives the impression of listening to a live band play, an impression that remains through out the track, even though the electronic production is hardly concealed. A Heavy rhythm section, super tight arrangements, intelligent in your face rhymes and an incredible over all groove make up this monster of a tune. Strange this piece was made in Berlin, when it sounds so incredibly American. It's just so very soulful, so big city sound, so 70's influenced, so movie score... so big! This sounds like the Mahavishnu Orchestra of Hip Hop - from a Billy Cobham kinda angle, so take it as a compliment.
