Following their killer "Devils Hands" on Tempa at the start of the summer, New Zealand crew Truth get down and dirty with the London mega-label once again. "Chicks & Drugs", a hook up with San Francisco-based bass monkey Stylust Beats, is a low-swung sleaze-fest with added ghetto attitude and no end of sub. "Empire" is more akin to what the trio's past repertoire; all spacious, tripped out and hypnotic, it's peppered with naked elements, each one designed to lock your attention and take you far, far away. They say the truth hurts. Turn up the volume and find out for yourself!
