House on Wax keeps it only school in its approach with vinyl only releases, hand stamped and no digital promotion. This 36th instalment is classy electronic house music from Vanguardist & Raretone. The duo kick off with the silky pads and late night neons of 'Bordeaux', then take off into the cosmos with the spaced out synths and big kicks of 'Moonrise.' Vanguardist goes solo for the more squelchy funk sounds of 'Something' while 'Pour Le Done' is a little more heads down and direct for when you need that hit of energy at 4am. Useful, stylish tracks for sure.
