After a debut LP on cassette format back in 2014 for Occult Research, Portland's Wav Fuzz has been largely dormant. This new EP for the freshly launched label by French editorial platform Les Yeux Orange is a fine comeback from the leftfield house producer, and each one of these four cuts are more fresh and evocative than the next. "Cold Fresh Air" produces a docile yet hummable rhythm, "Bahia Morphine" is a gentle, balearic-tinged house warmer, "The Euphoric Six" on the flip moves us closer and deeper into the dancefloor, and "Way Down To Psili Ammos" leaves us a with a pensive, ethereal taste that's just perfect for the summer months.
