WhoDem have already picked up some neat scene heat through one of their key founders; London bass conjurer J Robinson. Finally unleashing their debut 10", the justified hype is evident through every sonic element... Authentic dub delivered with contemporary dynamics, it's an essential addition to all bass fans' collections. "Lazy Dub" is a lolloping, rolling bounce track that bubbles with a bulbous bassline, reverbed rim-shots and soft echoing skanks. "Anxious Dub" is a just a little sharper on its toes as the bassline takes a backseat and allows the minor keys and melodica to push their message home. A genuinely ace debut release, you won't be asking who WhoDem are for very long.
