Last spotted on a scene stealing appearance on the excellent Nochexxx LP for RAMP, Hit+Run Crew's Zackey Force Funk works his vocal magic on this stellar little seven from Mofunk duo XL Middleton & Eddy Funkster. Described by the label as "funky yet ethereal", "Press Play" will appeal instantly to the synth funk fans that gobble up PPU releases, managing to be both eminently danceable and quite eerie in execution. Ease the 7" over and Xl and the Funkster show they can shine in instrumental form too on the sweet electro breaker "Super Gorilla" - watch out for those owl samples!
