Xpansul (aka Santiago Ferrer) releases his "Backwards EP" on Pariter. It starts off with the eight minute "Sevolin Sarevolin", a track which twists and turns it's way along a simple yet catchy hypnotic beat, gradually picking up new elements along the way and delivering where it counts. On the flipside is another Xpansul track, "Blind Rhythem", using sharp and unique sounds over the riding beat. Xpansul draws the listener in and pulls off that big room sound which is sure to go down very well in the club. Tadeo also brings a superb remix to the EP, using the elements from "Sevolin Sarevolin" which have been stripped back slightly, and then adding a 303 bassline which draws the listener in and keeps you locked in to the groove. This EP is sure to grab the attention of techno fans from Spain to Siberia. This is sound art for the new generation.
