Review: If any album is more fitting of a deluxe reissue than a lavish prog record from the 70s then let us know. This brand new anniversary edition of Pink Floyd's seminal classic Dark Side of the Moon documents the band's best era in the best possible sound quality yet. The bumper package includes a vast book, booklet, stickers, many different formats including live DVDs and a hardback tome from Thames & Hudson making it a truly definitive edition of one of rock's most landmark albums. One for the hardcore collectors out there for sure, although the power of songs like 'Money' and 'Us and Them' means it's an album still being discovered

Review: American blues-slanted rock band the Black Crowes put out their second album The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion back in May 1992. It was the first time Marc Ford had featured on lead guitar in place of Jeff Cease who was sacked the year before. It also marked the first time Eddie Harsch joined on keys and set a record at the time for being the first album to feature four rock number ones, and the album itself also climbed to the top spot in the Billboard 200 album chart. Its mix of blues and Southern styles often sees the album being included in lists of the best rock albums of all time.

Review: Linkin Park were many people's favourite rock act at least for a short time during their rebellious teenage years. Well, it is now two decades since the American outlaws were at their peak and specifically 20 years since they released their second and globally acclaimed album Meterora. As such it gets a special anniversary reissue here that features all of the original material as well as four previously unreleased concerts on DVD, plus rare and unreleased material that will be all nee to even the most hardcore of fan. A real must for collectors.

Review: Who's Next is the Who's most popular album, and is widely hailed as one of the greatest commercial rock albums of all time. Coasting on the enduring international success it has received for just about five decades, the album's 50th Anniversary now sees to this humungous CD and Blu-Ray box set reissue, putting together an ultra high quality Blu-Ray audio version of the original album, as well as over 50 demo tracks and oddballs from around the time. There's also a deluge of recorded live shows on there.

Review: Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the third and final album from Nirvana should require little to know introduction. Repressed, remastered and redefined over and over again, the Steve Albini-produced, mainstream-eschewing swansong has only grown to become one of the ugliest left-turns the 90s grunge scene ever spat out. This super-deluxe three decade celebratory edition comes with two live concerts recorded in Los Angeles in December '93 and Seattle in January '94, five previously released B-sides, six bonus live cuts, as well as a removable front-cover acrylic panel with the album's iconic Angel; a 48-page hardcover book with unreleased photos; a 20-page newly designed fanzine; a Los Angeles tour poster lithograph by hot rod artist Coop; replicas of the 1993 record store promo Angel mobile, three gig fliers, two ticket stubs for Los Angeles and Seattle, an All-Access tour laminate, and four cloth sticky tour backstage passes: Press, Photo, After Show, and Local Crew!

Review: The Black Sabbath Hand Of Doom box set provides the ultimate collection for fans who opt to live in a world where the group never had any other vocalist apart from Ozzy Osbourne. Providing picture disc represses of all eight LPs released during the original frontman's tenure from 1970 to 1978 (2013's reunion album 13 is not included), the collection boasts the self-titled 1970 debut, the same-year follow up Paranoid, as well as the iconic slew of Master Of Reality (1971), Vol 4 (1972), Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (1973), Sabotage (1975), Technical Ecstasy (1976) and Never Say Die! (1978). Limited to 3000 copies (which isn't a large amount when considering how vital Sabbath's early material still is to this day) and complete with a large coloured poster, fan service rarely gets as ideal or essential as Hand Of Doom.
