All you need on-board

Compact and mobile, you can record and mix songs without a computer. Use the R12's full-colour LCD touchscreen to cut, copy, loop, and edit your tracks.

Amazing sound

The R12 has super-clean preamps and you'll love the way they sound. With two XLR/TRS inputs, and 8 tracks of audio, the R12 is perfect for recording everything from demos to release-ready songs.

Fully loaded

The R12 includes a send effects channel offering reverb, chorus and delay with a ddedicated effects return fader. For advanced tones, you can use presets and effects from Zoom's Guitar Lab.

Take it everywhere

The R12 provides up to 5 hours on four AA batteries allowing you to bring your production anywhere. Additionally, you can use the R12 with the included AD-17 power adapter, or a USB battery.

The R12 also has pan and a 3-channel EQ for each track and a compressor on inputs 1 and 2.

Playback. Play along.

Use Sequence Play to create a playlist of your projects. Then use them as backing tracks, whether you're playing live or rehearsing a set.

The rear panels of the HS3 and HS4 are equipped with ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions that allow you to make adjustments to achieve the ideal sound for any environment, such as reducing the unneeded, exaggerated low-end that can often occur when speakers are placed next to walls.

The rear panel of the HS3 and HS4 is equipped with combination XLR/TRS phone, RCA, and stereo mini connectors, allowing you to connect to a wide range of professional and consumer equipment such as computers, audio interfaces, audio mixers, and electric instruments. The most commonly used features-power button, volume knob, and headphone connector-are located in the front for easy access.

Compact and portable

The compact size of the HS3 and HS4 was made possible thanks to the highly efficient class-D amp. Using one amp for two speakers has enabled us to both reduce the weight of the speakers and simplify the cable connections. They take up little space even in a small bedroom studio, and are easy to take with you on the road.

Rostock is a component of the Leibniz Binary Subsystem. It is a data pipeline, a FIFO (first in - first out) shift register, or a very short digital delay. The module operates similarly to a BBD delay or an ASR (analogue shift register), except that it is digital. It consists of a chain of memory cells that pass bits from one to another at each clock cycle. The delay length is variable from 1 to 64 stages (with optional looping and scrambling). It works by processing data in the Leibniz bus and must be connected to other Leibniz modules using data ribbon cables at the back. Rostock may process data sequences representing rhythms, control voltages, audio-rate signals, and even video signals because the bits can change at extreme rates (up to 2MHz). Xaoc Devices presents Batumi II - a greatly improved and enhanced new iteration of the modern day classic that is/was the original Batumi, preserving its layout and form factor. The premise remains the same: four LFO's with individual outputs for sine, assign and rectangle waves. The channels can operate independently or they can be linked - phase shifted, divided or multiplied (new mode alert) with regard to the first channel. Multiple major and minor improvements have been implemented, e.g. when synced to an external clock source, each channel's frequency slider selects a clock division for that channel's outputs.

Xaoc Devices have managed to incorporate the features of the original expander into Batumi II (sync mode switching and assign waveform selection) without changing the size of the module which opened up new possibilities for the new optional expander. The Poti II expander for Batumi II adds multi destination inputs for sine wavefolding, assign output waveform selection or rectangle pulse modulation with the destination set for each channel independently. Poti II also features frequency input attenuation as well as sine and assign output attenuation. All adjustments may be performed separately for each individual channel or for all channels simultaneously.

The Batumi II software has been rewritten from scratch to ensure best performance. The hardware has also been updated to allow for V/oct tracking and stable operation up to audio rates (more powerful CPU, precise, wideband converters, antialiased waveforms).

WMD have done several designs of this circuit over the years, the first one had no knobs, the second was too small, the MKIII is finally how this circuit should be packaged. This module does some really cool stuff and is super useful in any system.

The Digital VCA lets signal through like a normal VCA, but the CV and attenuation level is controlled digitally. This lets us do things like wait until there is a zero crossing to change the amplitude, resulting in clickless amplitude changes.

The Trigger mode causes the VCA to only update when a trigger is received. The addition of a noise circuit for each side let us do a very quick and easy sample and hold that never droops. With no input, 5V is normaled to the attenuator, so you get a 0-5V sample and hold. In Bipolar mode, you can get -5 to +5V.

Both sides have bipolar VCA mode (polarizer), which lets them invert the signal when negative CV comes in. Also known as ring modulation. With the zero crossing detector, this can produce some super wild wave shapes.

Review: Dorothy Ashby's importance as a jazz pioneer can't be overstated, and now we have the expansive box set that truly does justice to her immeasurable talent. The field of jazz harpists is not a cluttered one, but Ashby's reputation dominates for good reason, and now New Land have gathered together six LPs spanning 1957 to 1965. The Wampler Cory Wong compressor features two soft footswitches that operate each function of the pedal. For the boost side there is a single rotary boost control that adjusts the amount of boost activated and a profile switch that sets the mode of the boost circuit from a flat boost to a rich saturated boost with an extra vibrancy around the 550Hz range. The Blend control controls the amount of dry and compressed signal in the compressor circuit.

The Compressor is operated by the independent "Compress" footswitch on the left, the LED will turn green when active. This particular boost was based on the classic MDX Strat boost style circuitry (once favoured by Eric Clapton). When both sides are active, the LED turns Rainbow white. On the right hand side of the pedal there is a "Comp On" switch which permanently engages the compressor circuit when depressed - useful for a live environment where you want to really just stomp down for boost. The left hand side has an XLR socket to go direct to a PA system or mixing board, and a "Ground Lift '' switch which can be used to eliminate unwanted ground noise.

The Wampler Cory Wong Compressor delivers all of this with the premium build quality Wampler is known for.

Get boosted

Cory was keen for a choice of boost, that allowed him to choose either a flat volume boost or a rich, saturated boost that could push his midrange a little when the boost switch is engaged. There is a single rotary boost control that adjusts the amount of boost activated and a profile switch that sets the mode of the boost circuit from a flat boost to a rich saturated boost with an extra vibrancy around the 550Hz range.

Two switches, no dancing

There are two footswitches which each control the functions of the pedal. When Compress is switched the LED will turn blue. When the Boost is switched on the LED will turn green. If you have both the Boost and Compressor active the LED will turn Rainbow white. Use the Comp On switch to permanently engage the compressor and avoid the pedalboard tap dance when you want to add boost!

Go straight into your draw

The pedal features a Wampler first - a balanced XLR output enabling it to be plugged directly into a computer interface, mixing desk, or PA for those signature bright and clean tones. Theres an independent switch to lift the ground in case of additional hum.

Eons is a five-state fuzz capable of massively thick sounds ready to test the limits of any amp's grill cloth. Use the Voltage (lightning bolt) knob to crank up to 18 volts into the pedal's circuit for massive, open fuzz sounds, or choose to starve it down to 3 volts for spatty, gated fuzz. The ARP-87 is a compact, feature-rich delay, packed with a large pallet of inspirational delay tones. Featuring four main algorithms, digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back, the ARP-87 can cover some serious ground in the world of echoes. The Digital algorithm boasts pristine, crystal clear repeats great for rhythmic riffs. The Analog setting works well to add warmth and dimension to chords and lines without getting in the way. The Lo-Fi algorithm, with its adjustable frequency range on the repeats, goes from warm, warped, and murky, to strait AM radio. In Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, the knob will control modulation depth. In Lo-fi mode, the knob will control Filter width. Note that when changing delay types this loads a whole new algorithm and the tempo must be tapped in again.

Trails Mode

The ARP-87 can be run in trails or no trails mode. In trails mode, when you turn the pedal off, the delay trails die off naturally. In no trails mode, the delay trails are abruptly cut off when you turn the pedal off. To toggle between either mode, hold down the bypass switch for 1 second while applying power to the pedal. Unplug power and repeat to toggle to the other mode.

Momentary Functions

When the switch is in off position, press and hold the Bypass Switch to temporarily activate the effect to add a moment of delay texture. Releasing the switch turns the effect off. When the effect is on, press and hold the bypass switch to momentarily ramp the X parameter to maximum. Releasing the switch sets the X parameter back to the knob location. Press and hold the Tap Switch to temporarily ramp the feedback to maximum.
Release to set the feedback back to the knob location.

Its unique core adds character and color to any signal passed through it.

The LedPressor can be used as a normal compressor with low input levels, but as the input volume increases and the "nuke" LED lights up, it enters a new territory that combines compressor and overdrive, creating a dynamic overdrive effect.

Get it pumping with the side chain

The module features an external sidechain input that accepts audio and CV signals. Only the sidechain signal passes through a high pass filter, which gives the user greater control over the sound shape. The audio signal itself is not affected by the filter.

Parallel compression

The module also includes a mix knob that can be controlled with a dedicated mix CV input, allowing for greater flexibility when blending dry and wet signals. Additionally, it features a momentary bypass button to easily adjust the levels of dry and wet signals.

The Vestax VCM-100 is a portable rotary MIDI controller and audio interface system, designed for laptop DJ performance. Not only does the VCM-100's control interface dictate to your software, it comes with 2 stereo inputs/outputs. Unlike many other DJ MIDI controllers, no external soundcard or mixer is required for performance, headphone monitoring or integration into a sound system. 60 parameters of various software controls are assignable via USB connection.

Pitch, levels, EQs, loops, crossfader and pretty much every DJ function is pre-mapped and laied out in traditional DJ style for Vestax with the included Traktor DJ LE software. Increasing its versatility, the VCM-100 is compatible with all software that allows MIDI control assignment. 3 versions of firmware can be selected to have the best match with the software you are using. The VCM-100 is strong, sturdy, simple and very portable.

Notes: XFMR VCA is an amplifier module in the Eurorack format. It is voltage-controlled, linear, and features op-amp and audio transformer output options, as well as saturation-clipping properties. It has a width of 18HP, and it can be used with all synthesizers and allows you to control the level of the sound (amplitude).

XFMR VCA has a 2-channel mixer. You can mix a channel that is not included in filtering in your patch or a sound such as osc, noise into the 2nd input of the VCA. The CV Offset knob sends a DC constant voltage to the VCA, allowing the VCA to remain permanently open and can be used without any CV input. The 0 point of the CV Offset knob is in the center. When you turn the knob to the right, it can add positive offset voltage and when you turn it to the left, it can add negative offset voltage. With the negative voltage, you can shift the offset of the CV signals, that is, the 0 point, in the desired direction by the desired amount. At the same time, moving the CV offset knob in the negative direction provides a great advantage in AM. When the CV Offset knob is wide open in the positive direction, the volume level will increase more and more with the voltages you add from the CV inputs. When the headroom is filled, the VCA will begin to saturate. This saturation is a particular favourite feature at Vaemi is quite musical. XFMR VCA has two CV inputs. The CV inputs and the VCA's response are completely linear. The VCA can open and close very quickly. It allows for more detailed use with fast and high-quality Envelope Generators. By default, when you input an Envelope Generator into the first CV input, you still have a 2nd CV input as an advantage. Here, you can input a 2nd Envelope Generator signal for various reasons such as LFO, Random CV signals, side-chain, and more.

The XFMR VCA includes an Input Mixer, VCA, Drive, EQ Input Gain, EQ, and two different outputs, such as the Op-Amp output (VCA Out) or the Transformer output (TR Out). When you exceed headroom in VCA, the core of the audio transformer will start saturating after saturation. At the end of the chain, there are attenuator knobs for the Op-amp and Transformer. The outputs have a maximum of +/-5V (10Vpp).

Preamplifiers used in studios are equipment that can raise microphone or line level signals smoothly, without altering the sound, and without adding noise. However, when recording analogue synthesizers, we don't aim to raise the output, rather we aim to lower it due to their high output levels. You can continue to use the high output levels in your synthesizer patch in any module you want, such as a filter or reverb module, by using it as a modular level. When you use it at a low output level, you can record to any AD Converter of your choice without a preamplifier in between.

The XFMR VCA has an EQ stage before the Transformer and Op-Amp. This EQ stage has an input Gain knob. The knob is at the 12 o'clock position, or the center point, when using the Op-Amp output. When using the Transformer output, the center point of the Gain is marked with a "T" letter. The EQ has 3 bands, and each band's frequencies can be increased or decreased in decibels. The bands are divided into Low, Mid, and High. The Low band boosts or cuts 150hz, the Mid band boosts or cuts 1Khz, and the High band boosts or cuts 8Khz, with a wide curve. When finalizing your patch, an EQ stage in your patches will provide great flexibility and in multi-channel patches will provide a cleaner sound.

XFMR VCA has a white LED on it, which shows the output and audio signal of the VCA.

In conclusion, XFMR VCA is AC Coupled and is designed for audio signals only. It is mostly used at the end of the chain as a VCA module. You can use it to add saturation, harmonics, and EQ to your patch when using sine wave and through zero FM techniques with Osi-Op. You can also use it for clean ranges if you prefer. In addition, XFMR VCA has an expander and can be expanded up to 3 channels. With the expander, you can have 2 more exponential VCA channels and use them for frequency modulation of oscillators or other various patches.

Notes: The XFMR Ring Modulator is a very old transformer ring modulator design. It dates back to 1947. The inventor of the device is Harald Bode, not the inventor of the ring modulator, but the inventor of many other important circuits, who first thought of using it in music systems and designed an example of it. The first versions had inputs with 2 audio transformers and 4 diodes installed in a ring configuration for the ring modulator.

The module is 10 hp. It is hand-assembled with very high-quality through-hole components. The transformers used in the XFMR Ring Modulator are Tamura brand transformers with very high quality and flat response. There are two separate transformers at the input and output. Also, the input and output voltages are calibrated according to Vaemi's system and eurorack systems.

Input and output have a headroom of 10Vpp. Unlike the original design, the module is not passive but active (buffered). The XFMR Ring Modulator has a Carrier input and input attenuator, an Output and its attenuator, a Modulator CV input and its attenuator. The lights on the panel show the exact phase of the modulation. The gain setting you choose on the input signals will change and affect the sound of the XFMR Ring Modulator. It will also affect and change the harmonics generated by the attenuator to reduce the amount of modulation. There is also an offset knob for ring modulation. Here you can change the zero point of the modulation, direct and shape the modulation.

Vaemi have revived this old construction technique by creating the XFMR Ring Modulator as an active ring modulator with a transformer.

Notes: Osi-OP, which is regarded by Vaemi as an analogue reflection of the new era of digital electronic music, is an analogue and voltage-controlled oscillator module. It was designed in Eurorack format and it has a width of 14hp. The fact that it has Thru Zero FM Input and a Waveshape Output, which can be used for morphing, are two of the most important features of this product. From a first impression, it may look like an oscillator that is appropriate for subtractive synthesis; however, Vaemi actually designed it to be used for additive synthesis. Thanks to Thru Zero FM, this oscillator can regard oscillators with Sine Wave as analogue operators. You can even prepare your synthesizer patch without using the classic subtractive resonant filter. The most important aspect of Thru Zero FM is that there is no tune drift when you increase the modulation rate. For this reason, Thru Zero attenuator (TZ FM potentiometer) can almost be used like a filter itself. the frequency of the second oscillator acting as FM (operator) according to the frequency of the 1st oscillator giving the fundamental frequency; must be set in harmonic degrees of the fundamental frequency. But at these settings the tonality can remain in and be musical. In addition to Square, Saw, Triangle, and Square Sub oscillator outputs, it has a Sine Wave Output, which was designed with JFET transistors and has a very low distortion rate, and a Waveshape Output, which was designed with Sine-Triangle and can be used for morphing. It also has a Wave Shape Input. It is connected to this input via the Triangle Wave circuit board inside. Sine Wave is fixed on Wave Shape but you can forward it to the other WS Input by patching other waveforms, and you can morph between two waveforms. The pulse width of the Square Wave can be adjusted. The same knob is the morphing knob of the Waveshape Output. Since the oscillator has tempo, there is a 1V/OCT calibrated CV Input that is sensitive to heat. It can perfectly stay in tune up to 3.5 octaves. In addition, for FM, there are two separate CV Inputs, Exponential and Thru Zero. While Exponential FM CV Input can take all types of DC and AC voltages, Thru Zero FM CV Input can only be used for AC audio rate signals. Also, when you enter a waveform on Thru Zero FM CV Input, oscillators are soft-synced automatically. With 1V/OCT CV Input, you can adjust the frequency of the oscillator; and with Exponential FM CV Input, you can easily add an LFO or Envelope Generator. Square Wave Sub OSC Output, which is completely synced with fundamental frequency and can give an octave lower than the fundamental, will help you a lot to create strong modern synth-bass sounds. It is made with NOS IC. When the oscillator is FM modulated, the Sub OSC never gets negatively affected by this modulation; and it can maintain giving the frequency clearly. You can also switch the oscillator to the LFO mode. You can create subtractive syntheses by using two or more of these oscillators or by mixing these waveforms. The main reason for us to design this oscillator is, as its name shows, to enable the creation of complex FM patches and sounds by using 2-3 or more of these oscillators, just like Operator FM. While Thru Zero FM increases the modulation, it can maintain giving the same frequency without losing the adjusted frequency; and you can add harmonics to the sound musically. The module has 5 knob controls, 4 CV Inputs, an input for Waveshaper, and 6 i5V waveform outputs. Osi-OP, which is handmade and produced with the help of Through Hole technology, is a product consisting of electronic components that is carefully tested.
