Notes: This is an envelope follower based on a classic module from the seventies but with some improvements to suit modern needs.

The IN signal is bifurcated to the envelope follower circuit and also to a THRU output, so the original signal is also available for external processing.

The envelope follower has three controls, a switch to select response time (fast, medium, slow), a pot to adjust GATE threshold and a pot to adjust the envelope CV level.

This little module will help you shape the timbre and/or the level envelopes of your sounds. From dynamic envelope filtering to compressor like side chaining there are lots of possibilities to mangle your audio.

Notes: As the name suggests this module can produce sub frequencies of -1 and -2 octaves relative to the square wave signal provided at the input jack.

But this is not just a simple SUB generator. It also has a little mixer that will let you add different levels of -1 and -2 octave signals to the original square wave. You can select the -2 octave signal to be a square wave or a pulse wave.

The module has individual outputs for the mixed signal, the -1 octave and the -2 octave.

This little modules can produce enough timbral variation to make you bass sound exciting.

Review: Being the album that contained the kings of second wave 80s progressive rock's breakthrough single 'Kayleigh', this, their third studio album, divided hardcore fans but opened the Aylesbury band up to the kind of mainstream acceptance that's seen them able to carry on well into the 21st century. Not to mention rack up 15 million in album sales. This deluxe edition is truly deluxe, with a remastered version of the album itself, undoubtedly more immediately palatable and less obviously 'prog' than its predecessors but still noticably Marillion in flavour, plus a Live In Utrecht bonus LP and a disc of bonus mixes, B-sides and rarities. The blu ray disc, meanwhile, contains more goodies including a documentary and a 5.1 mix of Misplaced Childhood. Plenty to keep even the more 'Kayleigh'-phobic purists happy, we'd wager.

Review: Madrugada's The Industrial Silence Tour in 2019 took them to play Live At Rockpalast and the show was captured for this limited edition and one-off album. Review: Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio. Japanese jazz legend Tsuyoshi Yamamoto has been busy with his trio for this new album A Shade Of Blue which comes on gatefold 180 gram vinyl via Evo Sound. The record is a reflection of his love of the classic piano trio. Such a setup was only first conceived in around the 1940s when jazz cat Nat King Cole first had the idea which was then further built on in the fifties by now well regarded innovators such as Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal and Bill Evans. Alongside bassist Hiroshi Kagawa and drummer Toshio Osumi, Yamamoto revels in great musical chemistry for this most sublime album.

Review: Catch A Fire, Bob Marley and The Wailers' seminal first release on Island Records, universally regarded as the album that put reggae music on the global stage, is being re-issued via UMe on November 3 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its original release in 1973. The album features nine songs, two of which were written by Peter Tosh and the rest by Marley. 'Slave Driver', one of the most powerful tracks on the album, will be released as a single, accompanied by remarkable live performance footage recently unearthed from the legendary Edmonton show in England in 1973.
