MIDI controller specifically designed for seamless integration with Ableton Live software
Notes: Super easy way to get started with Ableton. Akai's mini clip controller teams up perfectly with the bundled copy of Live Lite (or your own version, if you already have one). Hands-on control adds an extra layer of creativity to Live.

Supplier notes:
Dexterous, versatile, and powerful, the only thing "mini" about this Ableton controller is the size. APC mini is the most portable all-in-one Ableton controller solution with Akai Pro build quality. Engineered specifically for the mobile musician and the desktop producer, APC mini concentrates the essential features of the APC40 mkII, Akai Pro's flagship Ableton controller, into a compact design that fits in your backpack. The result is a dynamic instrument that empowers you to make music with Ableton Live - anywhere.

APC mini features an expanded 8x8 multicolor clip-launching grid that's built for hands-on exploration: launch clips and create or perform your song from the ground up using 64 responsive triggers. Tri-color lighting provides visual feedback and displays three clip statuses - loaded, playing, and recording - so you can intelligently perform without looking at your computer. Plus, you can use the Shift button and directional arrows to manipulate the scope of the 8x8 grid.

Nine channel faders allow you to mix with an all-new reinforced fader design. Users can change channel-fader functionality with the dedicated buttons for volume, pan, sends, and device control: fade clips in and out of the mix; pan instruments to the left, right, or center; raise the level of reverb or other effects to create fluid transitions; open and close filters for lush sweeps; and much more. Additionally, each fader is completely assignable for flexible mixing and mapping options.

APC mini comes pre-mapped to Live for an instant performance and production setup. When APC mini is plugged into your computer, its hardware controls correspond 1 to 1 with Ableton Live's interface - no additional configuring is required. For APC veterans, all of APC mini's controls can be re-assigned on the fly for customized setups that change with your performance or production style. Whether you are an electronic music artist and Live is your canvas, a DJ using Live for performance and real-time mixing, or a more traditional musician using Live on stage or in the studio, you will find the APC mini to be the intuitive, powerful instrument that directly links your inspiration with Ableton Live.

For maximum portability, APC mini is powered over USB and supports plug-and-play connectivity. APC mini also offers a smaller footprint than its APC counterparts, enabling musicians to use APC mini alongside effects controllers and other devices. Users can even run multiple APC minis in parallel for more versatility.

Multipurpose studio mixer with FX
Notes: The Allen & Heath ZED-10FX mixer is an amazing little desk for small band mixing. It is ultra portable for carrying to the gig, and can be used for recording live or in the studio. It comes with configurable USB audio in/out making it easy to capture stereo recordings.

Guitars can be plugged in directly to the mixer using the specially designed high-impedance inputs, while the mixer has two stereo inputs for MP3/CD players or keyboards. Equipped with professional XLR stereo outputs and a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs. We've added a set of fabulous effects to give shimmering reverbs and enhance your sound.

USB AUDIO FLEXIBILITY
Getting audio to and from a computer easily is now a common requirement for live sound and music production. The way this has been implemented on ZED is super-flexible and super-easy! No longer do you need to fiddle around the back of your PC to get to the soundcard inputs, only to find that the levels are all wrong and noisy. Just plug in a USB lead to your ZED, select the USB routing on the mixer and the device on your computer and that's it! CD quality audio to and from your PC or Mac. Switches and connection through jack socket terminals provide different send/return configurations:-

SEND OPTIONS:
1) Main Mix Left + Right (Post master Level)

2) Aux + FX bus (Aux is a pre-fade send, FX is a post-fade send)

3) Record Bus Left + Right (Separate stereo bus to Main Mix)

RETURN OPTIONS:
1) To Playback input (through jack socket break contacts)

2) To Stereo 2 channel (through jack socket break contacts)

ZED-10FX features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ - with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.

ZED-10FX has an essential selection of 16 time-delay effects, designed for small groups who don't want to carry around an effects unit with their gear but who still want great quality FX at their gigs and on their recordings. Our DSP engineers worked hard, crafting and refining beautiful reverb algorithms to enhance every performance. These effects are available nowhere else at this price point - this quality and integration is only available from the ZED-FX. ZED effects are easily controlled using 3 buttons with 9 display LEDs. For example, the ideal delay time can be quickly tapped-in, or the perfect amount of reverb on the lead vocal can be dialled-in. There is one-stop navigation and editing - in fact, it's just as easy as using effects pedals. To alter effects parameters, the TAP button is held down and the up/down buttons pressed to adjust the specific parameter for that effect, for example, the decay length on PLATE, or the depth on CHORUS.

ZED-10FX's pre-amps are similar in design to our MixWizard range of mixers, but with a twist! Inputs 3 & 4 have a high impedance jack input capable of taking either a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup. These newly designed inputs have been crafted with the aim of replicating the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube pre-amp in a combo or head amp. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pick-ups is minimal and a Class A FET (field effect transistor) circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the valve-like gain stage. There is a gain "Boost" switch associated with the guitar inputs which boosts gain by 26dB to cater for instruments with very low level outputs and the overdrive characteristics of the guitar inputs are very similar to a valve (tube) circuit, being asymmetric and soft. All this makes for a wonderfully natural sound to be reproduced from the instrument, full of warmth and character.

The ZED-10FX is bundled with IK Multimedia's AmpliTube X-GEAR software, giving access to superbly modelled amps and effects.

delay desktop effects unit
Notes: The legendary UK label collabs with one of our favourite hardware brands to create a stereo delay unit with valve circuits, analogue filter and huge creative potential. Sounds amazing on pretty much any signal you feed it.

Supplier's notes:
Ninja Tune - an English independent record label based in London and Erica Synths have teamed up to create a custom dub delay effects unit, the Zen Delay.
Features
Controls: delay time, feedback, delay mod (5 presets), tap button, dry/wet, bypass switch, filter cutoff, resonance, drive, input level, filter mode

Inputs
Stereo In: 2x standard jack

MIDI In: standard MIDI socket

CV In: standard jack

Outputs

Stereo Out: 2 x standard jack

Delay times: 1-5000ms with 1/8...x8 of clock/tap rate in beat mode (up to 50 sec)

Inspired by a trip to Berlin's trailblazing music hardware trade show Superbooth, Coldcut's Matt Black and longtime friend Dr Walker (Liquid Sky artist collective / Air Liquide) envisaged the exciting possibilities of a custom hardware effects unit. The result is the creation of the Zen Delay i the first-ever hardware effects unit produced in collaboration with an electronic music label.

Bringing together the best of the digital and analogue worlds, the Zen Delay is a BPM-synced stereo delay line, combining extreme feedback ranges for dub and experimental lo-fi effects with a multi-mode 24 dB synth filter and valve overdrive.

Created and manufactured by Erica Synths, the unit is housed in a metal case with Erica Synths' signature bakelite knobs and a valve circuit for extra analogue warmth. While sonically versatile, it is incredibly easy to use each function has a physical knob that you can play around with without diving into manuals or scrolling through menus on a tiny screen.

Crafted in close collaboration with DJs and producers, the Zen Delay was uniquely developed with both live and studio use in mind and is suitable for many different performance situations, musical styles and instruments. While most delay devices are designed as 'stomp boxes' for guitarists, the device is equally powerful in the hands of electronic music producers, artists and DJs, adding a unique, warm and powerful sonic character to drum machines, loops, vocals, synths, samples or any other source. Even full tracks or a live stereo mix can be enhanced by the combination of analogue and digital circuitry, breathing new life into iPad performances and giving traditional digital synths and drum machines a huge kick.

The Zen Delay is a product of our expertise on vacuum tube designs, our powerful, custom DSP platform and the great sound of our filter ICs made and developed in Latvia. It by far exceeded expectations in terms of how it sounds and feels when played. - Girts Ozolin

The Zen Delay is the analogue delay unit I've been waiting for. Stereo warmth, tone and texture. Perfect for live abusage, and studio madness love it - The Bug

The Zen excels at the sort of extreme dub possibilities Coldcut love. Feed it back! - Matt Black

For years I have dreamed of a state-of-the-art stereo valve dub delay for my MPC that perfectly masters all sound aesthetics from "badass" to "psychedelic hypnotically trashed" and now, have a look! There it is... the Zen Delay! - Dr Walker

MIDI to MIDI clock/DIN sync/CR-78 clock & and Analog clock converter
Notes: The Swynx is a sync box that converts incoming MIDI messages to MIDI clock, DIN sync, CR-78 clock, and Analog clocks. In addition, the Swynx provides the ability to swing the timing of all these clock outputs and select different time signatures in real-time with the front panel controls, and can also act as a CR-78 pattern programmer.

After you try it in your setup, you will realize just what you've been missing.

For instance, many DIN sync devices do not provide a built-in swing function. And many MIDI sequencers and drum machines suffer from poor implementation of swing, preventing changes to be made live, or only providing swing for 4/4 patterns.

Quite a few MIDI sequencers don't offer any swing function, including our own 777 and Mobius products. Now you can apply swing to any MIDI sequencer, and select new time signatures as well

Need to sync your analog sequencer or arpeggiator with MIDI gear? No problem! Not only can you do so, but now you can swing the timing of those devices as well. You can even use the analog clock output to Gate the envelopes in a synthesizer. The clock duty cycle is 50% of a note duration.

If you are a Roland CR-78 owner, you may have realized finding a WS-1 or TS-1 to program the CR-78 is next to impossible. The Swynx can replicate the programming capabilities of these units, plus provide sync to MIDI, and realtime swing adjustment. The ability to add swing to the CR-78's preset patterns alone will breathe new life into this old friend.

The Swing value is accurate to 0.5% providing much more control resolution than is typically found in sequencers and drum machines.

The Swynx provides 12 different time signatures to choose from. Some time signatures are duplicate, but provide different shuffle patterns for that time signature. Time signatures include 9/8, 7/8, 6/8, 5/8, 2/4, 4/4, 8/4, 3/4, and 6/4.

A universal power supply is provided with each unit, allowing the Swynx to be used anywhere in the world.

The Swynx is all about making the gear you have sound better!

USB device that stores licenses for iLok-enabled software
Notes: How does it work and why do I need one:
The iLok is a special USB device that holds your licenses for iLok-enabled software. Software publishers use the iLok to provide secure protection for their software. When you run their iLok-enabled software, it looks for the software license on your attached iLok.

The Third Generation iLok:
Smaller, faster, and with even greater capacity, the new iLok is here! The Third Generation iLok is fully compatible with software created for the second generation iLok. With its smaller form factor and metal body, it is more robust and less prone to casual damage.

iLok Benefits:
- It's portable - you can authorize your software anywhere it is installed. At home, work, or at a remote location, you can keep your software licenses with you, not on your computer.
- It's convenient and cross-platform - Store your Mac and Windows iLok-enabled software licenses all on a single iLok. A Third Generation iLok can hold over 1500 licenses.
- Worry Free - Your licenses are on the safest, most secure solution: the iLok. With Zero Downtime protection available, you've got 24/7 peace of mind.

Managing your licenses has never been so easy. Using the iLok License Manager application, you can:
- View what is on your iLok(s)
- Download new licenses from participating software publishers
- Manage your licenses, including moving them between iLoks within your account and from your iLoks back to your account
- Transfer licenses to other iLok.com accounts

What do I need in order to use my iLok?

In order to use an iLok, you'll need at least 3 things:
- Your iLok
- A license for the iLok-protected software you want to run (you'll need to have the publisher place this license in your account or send you an Activation code)
- The software that is iLok protected (usually a download from the Publisher's or retailer's website, we do not host those on this site)

Anything else?

Your iLok will need special License Support software in order to talk to the protected software. Your protected software most likely installed this special software, but you can always get the latest version of this software by installing the iLok License Manager.

Intellijel Tete Module (synth module)
Cat: 747529 Rel: 30 Dec 19

Expander module for the Tetrapad controller
Notes: Tete is the long awaited and highly anticipated expander for the Tetrapad.

Some of the key features:

Three primary modes: VOLTAGES, NOTES and COMBO.

VOLTAGES mode:

Up to 16 voltage storage locations (grid) with 8 voltages stored at each location.

You have the choice to record and playback your recall of these locations in a looper style (just play freely and spend arbitrary amount of time at any location) or as a clocked sequence (SH-101 style). Additionally you can traverse the matrix using the X and Y CV inputs to get Cartesian style sequencing.

There is also variable slew that allows you to morph/glide between the values.

NOTES mode:

You can create sequences or loops in chord, scales or keyboard mode. The isomorphic keyboard grid can vary from 4 notes to 12 notes max. There are real-time performance looping, transposition and inversion capabilities via the CV inputs and dedicated loop button. In sequencer mode each step can be a tie, rest, or gate with size 25/50/75%. Basically we have created a way to very quickly and intuitively make chord sequences that are very musical and easy to manipulate. It is difficult to summarize in words but we will be sure to create some videos to demonstrate how easy and fun this is to play with. It definitely represents something unique in the landscape of Eurorack sequencers.

COMBO mode:

In this mode you can loop record your performance on any combination of the following functions:

fader, bipolar fader, drum hit, switch or LFO. Kind of like Elektron style parameter locking but all of the motions is recorded continuously instead of just in slices. Instantly turn a simple patch into a highly animated and complex beast.

With all of the above mentioned loop recording modes you can very easily overdub since the Tetrapad detects pressure/pressing. In combo mode you can erase individual channels.

All modes allow for internal or external clocking and configurable syncing.

All of the modes have special XYZ CV modulation assignments and make use of the dedicated CV outputs.

For example, in Looper mode one of the CV outputs generates a continuous ramp that represents the position in the loop. This can be used with devices like the Planar 2 in Interpolation mode to sync the recorded patterns together no matter what tempo.

Classic Korg MS20 recreated in miniature size
Notes: Korg's MS-20 monophonic synthesizer, first introduced in 1978, is still a coveted instrument to this day, thanks to its thick, robust sound, its powerful, iconic analog filter, and its versatile patching options. Over 300,000 people have enjoyed the distinct MS-20 sounds from the original, from Korg's MS-20 plugin synth, or the iMS-20 iPad app.

Today, the sounds of the MS-20 have been reborn in hardware, as the MS-20 Mini. The same engineers who developed the original MS-20 have perfectly reproduced its circuitry and fit into a body that's been shrunk to 86% of the original size, yet retains the distinctive look of the original.

The MS-20 mini will amaze you with its absolutely authentic analog synth sound.

The Korg MS-20 Mini features 2 improved lower noise voltage controlled oscillators with selectable waveforms including ring modulation and noise, 2 voltage controlled high and low pass filters, 2 voltage controlled amplifiers, 2 envelope generators and an LFO. Part of the appeal of the original was its self oscillating, resonant filters that could be driven into distortion. They remain popular to this day and can also be found in the recent monotron and monotribe units as well as on the new MS-20 Mini.

Part of the versatility of the original Korg MS-20 was its flexible patching system, making it semi modular, and this has been recreated for the MS-20 Mini. It allows users to create uniquely complex, evolving, organic sounds by using patch cables to access and change the internal synth architecture, with the front panel flow chart guiding easy operation straight out of the box. Users can even patch external sources via the external signal processor to be processed in the same way as an oscillator, as well as benefitting from the rich harmonics added by the circuitry and filters.

This reissue of a modern classic will be an extremely welcome addition to Korg's current synth line and, with fantastic sound, versatility and ease of use, the MS-20 Mini is sure to win over many fans old and new.

Vintage Blackface Fender amp in a box with a boost
Notes: Fender Blackface amps (1963-1968) are widely considered as the most recorded amps in the history of music. And for a good reason.

Mad Professor Super Black has the Fender Blackface tone in the box! The whole amp signal path is replicated inside. You can turn your amplifier easily into 60's Fender glory! Don't be afraid to plug the Super Black pedal also straight into the return jack of your amp ?s FX loop. This way you can bypass the preamp of your amp and get the sound of a full Blackface amp signal path without the colour of your amps preamp.

Super Black amp-in-a-box pedal will deliver the punchy, mid scooped and sparkling chimey clean tone that Fender Blackface amplifiers are known and famous for. And this might be the most sought after Fender sound!

Super Black will also deliver the most beautiful and amp-like break up tone you could imagine. Gain and Volume controls are making sure you will achieve the sweet spot and nail this iconic tone at any volume, still retaining full clarity. So Super Black makes it easy to get the ultimate break up tone also with your big high headroom amp or with a big Fender amp too that is too loud when you crank it up till 6 where it is finally giving the goods.

Fender Blackface amps, when pushed nearly all the way, are producing fantastic classic overdriven tones as well. At this point even the smallest models are fairly loud though. Enter the Mad Professor Super Black and you have a rocking machine at your feet at any volume.

Also, we at Mad Professor Amplification, noticed some variation on amounts of both low end and compression depending on the model when we took both big and small Blackface amps into a close look. Therefore we added two mini switches, one for the bass and one for the compression. You get to tailor these characteristics, whether you want more or less, by adjusting these two switches.

And there is more! We added our all time best seller overdrive pedal, Sweet Honey Overdrive, to boost the front end of the Super Black. Sweet Honey Overdrive pedal into a Blackface amp is a magic combination! Now you have even more possibilities when you are fine tuning your overdriven tones with the rest of your gear. Having its own on/off switch plus Volume and Drive controls you can use the Sweet Honey circuit separately too.

The combination of all above is meaning that the Mad Professor Super Black is a jack of all trades pedal in a best possible way. Plugging in the Super Black is like striking gold in a studio or live stage when tone seeking!

Single voice patchable synthesiser
Notes: The 0-COAST is a single voice patchable synthesizer. Its name reflects the fact that it utilizes techniques from both the Moog and Buchla paradigms (aka "East Coast," and "West Coast," due to their locations), but is loyal to neither and thus implements "no coast synthesis."

While the 0-COAST utilizes classic modular synthesis techniques, it's designed to operate with or without the use of patch cables. The necessary connections have been made from circuit to circuit so it operates as an expressive, musical MonoSynth. Using only the MIDI controller of your choice you could apply new timbres to your existing musical forms!

Using the included Patch Cables you could get more scientific, experimenting with new ways to wire up the circuits. You might even forgo MIDI altogether, disappearing into a cloud of analog FM induced Sidebands and harmonics scattered around a single fundamental drone that has nothing to do with any form of music you've ever known.

Analogue synth module composed of three drum voices - 12HP
Notes: The module TT/CO/CL 522 is an enhanced circuit was used before in the MFB 522, Tanzbar Lite and Tanzbar drum machine.

As a modular concept you have the possibility to control the parameter DECAY, TUNE and PITCH (only Tom/Conga) via CV-signals from Envelopes, LFOs and Step Sequencers. The unit can be triggered by different signals.

Beside sequencer generated analogue and digital trigger-signals drum pads, piezo pickups and dynamic mics may also be used. Here the SENS controls allow individual adjustment of the input sensitivity. Dynamic triggers also change the volume, tone length and pitch.

The functions of Tom/Conga in detail:

DECAY adjusts the decay time up to one second.
TUNE sets the frequency of the TOM from 80 to 150 Hz (CONGA 120 to 200 Hz).
PITCH controls the duration and intensity of the pitch envelope.
ATTACK sets the click transient of the Tom/Conga.

To switch between Tom and Conga, a trigger impulse is needed.

For the CLAVE, DECAY adjusts the decay time. TUNE calibrates the CLAVE between 800 and 1500 Hz.

The module has a wide of 12 HP (60 mm).

Notes: The MIDI Solutions Event Processor Plus offers all of the functionality of the MIDI Solutions Event Processor, with 32 settings instead of the Event Processor's 10, and 8 variable storage locations instead of the Event Processor's 2. Each of the Event Processor Plus's 32 settings can be programmed with a unique MIDI processing function. By combining these settings the Event Processor Plus becomes an extremely powerful tool capable of processing MIDI events in almost any way imaginable. You can map MIDI events or ranges of MIDI events to other MIDI events, filter MIDI events or ranges of MIDI events, trigger MIDI events, toggle between MIDI events, sequence through MIDI events, scale or crossfade MIDI messages, transpose notes, scale velocities, map to and from System Exclusive, NRPN, Bank Select messages, store incoming values in variables for later use... the Event Processor is like a swiss army knife of MIDI processing products, an indispensable tool in any MIDI musician's arsenal.

The Event Processor Plus works by comparing each incoming MIDI event with each of its 32 settings. When an incoming MIDI event matches a setting, the event is processed according to that setting. By combining different settings for different incoming events, the Event Processor Plus becomes an extremely powerful tool capable of achieving virtually any combination of MIDI-processing functions.

Following is a list of the Event Processor Plus's functions, but better yet download the Event Processor Plus Programming Tools software and read the Guide to the Event Processor and Event Processor Plus by Bruce Wahler of Ashby Solutions. The Programming Tools software is free for download, quick to install, and contains lots of example files that demonstrate the many applications of the Event Processor Plus. And the Guide to the Event Processor and Event Processor Plus is a comprehensive guide that makes it easy to understand everything these amazing products are capable of!

Filter MIDI Events

Map MIDI Events

Trigger MIDI Events

Cycle Through a Sequence of MIDI Events

Turn Settings On and Off

Store Incoming Values in Variables

The Event Processor Plus is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages (see FAQs - Programming). This is easily done with the Event Processor Plus Programming Tools software. Once programmed, the Event Processor Plus's settings are retained even after power is removed. The Event Processor Plus can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.

The Event Processor Plus is MIDI-powered, and requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products (see FAQs - Power and FAQs - LED for more information). A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.

6HP Eurorack voltage-controlled delay module
Notes: The Analog Delay Unit is based on the design created for the Voltage Lab synthesizer module. A finely tuned circuit designed to enhance the source material by adding depth and warmth.

Module Overview:

The Analog Delay utilizes a pair of 4,096 stage BBD chips to produce a voltage controllable analog delay signal. Clean delay time can vary from 16ms to 340ms. The maximum delay time can be increased using the TIME CV INPUT delay time maxes out at 465ms but the increased time comes at the cost of fidelity and a bit of high frequency clock noise bleed. The name BBD stands for bucket brigade device in reference to a line of people passing buckets of water to quickly extinguish a fire. Each stage of a BBD chip contains a single capacitor. Pairing two chips together creates a chain of 8,192 capacitors. Like the water buckets, an audio signal is passed from capacitor to capacitor within the BBD chips once every clock step. A slower clock produces a longer delay and a faster clock produces a shorter delay.

Delay time:

Delay time is set by adjusting the DELAY TIME SLIDER. Moving the slider up increases the delay time. Delay time can be voltage controlled by patching into the DELAY TIME CV INPUT JACK and adjusting the DELAY TIME CV TRIMMER. The DELAY TIME CV TRIMMER is an attenuverter. That means the incoming signal is off when the trimmer is set to the 12 o'clock position. Turning the attenuverter to the right passes the original signal through. Turning the attenuverter to the left passes an inverted version of the original signal through. Turning the DELAY TIME CV TRIMMER to the right will increase the amount of CV passed through to the delay time. Turning the DELAY TIME CV TRIMMER to the left will increase the amount of inverted CV passed through to the delay time. Locating the exact off position of an attenuverter can be difficult. The easiest wave to remove the CV signal from the signal path is to simply remove the patch cable patched into the DELAY TIME CV INPUT JACK.

Feedback:

The DELAY REPEATS SLIDER sets the amount of repeats created by the delay. Moving the DELAY REPEATSSLIDER all the way down will produce 1 repeat. Adjusting the slider up increases the number of repeats until the delay begins to self-oscillate.

Output Mix:

The DELAY MIX KNOB acts as a balance control between the dry incoming signal and the wet delayed signal. Turning the DELAY MIX KNOB to the left weighs the output toward the dry signal. Turning the DELAY MIX KNOB to the right weighs the output toward the wet signal. In theory, setting the DELAY MIX KNOB at 12 o'clock creates an even mix of the wet and dry signals. In reality, the tolerance of the potentiometer, waves shape, and dry signal level all influence the location of an even 50/50 mix.

Retrokits RK002 Smart MIDI Cable has a microprocessor on board
Notes: The RK-002 'Smart MIDI cable' has already found it's way in various setups. It looks like a +/-1.5m ordinary male-male MIDI-cable but has a microprocessor on board which 'bends' or even generates MIDI data on the fly. You can order it pre-installed for the Volca Sample, Kaossilator, Arpeggiator, Digitakt (/MOD), firmwares so you can get started right away. If you decide to use it differently later on: You can switch firmwares as well (or even compile your own MIDI Processor!).

Firmware flavours available for the Volca FM, Volca Sample or even an Arpeggiator; Applicable for a wide range of synths which lack this functionality.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is not wise to use multiple midi-powered devices on one output. You should use a thru box and not an audio splitter or such.

So devices like the MIDI Solutions Quadra thru which harvest power from the MIDI bus themselves are not advisable to use with the RK-002. On occasion it seems this box can even leave the RK-002 in an unuseable boot mode.

RME
Cat: 756566 Rel: 12 Dec 19

24-channel 192 kHz bus-powered professional USB 2.0 audio interface
Notes: High-end interface specialists RME deliver another winner. Amazing sound quality in a compact package, with TotalMix control, ADAT expansion and built-in MIDI interface.

Supplier's notes:
Four years ago the Babyface Pro again demonstrated RME's absolute commitment to superior craftsmanship, not only in audio circuits and driver development, but also in mechanics. Created with the highest precision from a block of aluminium, this high-end portable interface incorporated newly designed analogue and digital circuits. Its innovative energy saving technologies provided supreme fidelity with no compromises in level, noise or distortion.
The two headphone outputs, offering TRS and mini-jack sockets in parallel, have completely separate driver stages to perfectly match low and high impedance headphones, guaranteeing pristine sonic results no matter what type of headphone is used.
For the main I/O RME have designed an XLR socket, which integrates seamlessly into the housing and saves space.
Two digitally controlled preamps provide individually switchable 48V phantom power. These circuits feature a gain range of 76 dB, adjustable in steps of 1 dB, including a relay-driven PAD, resulting in exceptional EIN (Equivalent Input Noise) performance as well as line overload protection, and enough gain for even the lowest level microphones.
Babyface Pro's incredibly efficient design almost never requires an external power supply - it's perfectly stable on USB 3 bus power, and also most USB 2 ports, with no degradation in any technical specification. This makes it perfect for mobile recording, even with a pair of your favourite condenser microphones.
The comprehensive feature set continues with an optical TOSLINK I/O; use as either an ADAT port with SMUX support or SPDIF for sessions up to 192 kHz. In combination with an external ADAT converter, the Babyface Pro fully supports 12 analogue inputs as well as 12 outputs, making it ideal for both live and studio multi-track applications. You can plug any instrument, line or high impedance, into Babyface Pro's jack inputs 3 & 4. Record your guitar on the go, with no additional hardware required. MIDI I/O via an included breakout cable completes the package.
In digital audio, the clock frequency is an essential factor, as it creates the correlation between the audio bits and the time reference. Unfortunately, the clock frequency is not always as stable as desired. The Babyface Pro FS offers the full SteadyClock FS circuit as in the ADI-2 Pro FS for lowest jitter and highest jitter immunity. Excellent performance in all clock modes and High Quality Analog Conversion to hear your mix as it is. Digital format conversion in RME products are done without any loss or degradation, and SteadyClock FS ensures your sonic image will never experience degradation. This helps to optimize recordings and mixes because the soundstage has more depth and clarity.
Like all the latest RME interfaces, the Babyface Pro FS also includes the powerful digital real-time mixer TotalMix FX. It allows fully independent routing and mixing of input and playback channels to all physical outputs. Independent stereo submixes plus a comprehensive Control Room section offer unrivalled monitoring capabilities and unsurpassed routing flexibility.
Babyface Pro FS ships with RME's TotalMix FX, available for Windows and Mac OS X. An iOS version is available as well. This amazingly versatile software allows you to use Babyface Pro in any situation. For example, mixing your guitar and vocals to headphones has never been easier. The FPGA-based DSP mixer adds a flexible, 3-band parametric equalizer to all inputs and outputs. Reverb and delay FX are also available.
The FPGA-based DSP mixer adds a flexible, 3-band parametric equalizer to all inputs and outputs. Reverb and delay FX are also available. Latest generation low latency AD/DA converters, combined with RME's unique SteadyClock FS technology, result in exceptional specifications that will satisfy the most demanding of professionals. Combining a huge feature set with sonic excellence and intuitive control, whether for the studio or on the move, the RME Babyface Pro is the most comprehensive and versatile compact audio interface ever built.

Modern, easy-to-use & versatile hardware sequencer - MK2 version
Notes: Modern, easy-to-use & versatile hardware sequencer.

Pyramid provides you with a radical new workflow and almost unlimited possibilities.

It will become your ultimate studio centerpiece.

Pyramid is designed to be the perfect brain for your musical setup, from studio to stage. It brings together a powerful sequencer, a looper, a rhythm generator, a real-time effect processor, a midi controller and an input+output interface.

Pyramid does not produce sounds. Instead, we have focused our energies on creating an innovative and complete sequencing solution full of creative tools.

Pyramid is an instant source of inspiration to start, finish & perform your song!

With Pyramid's high precision clock, the sequencer becomes a great synchronisation tool for both vintage and recent devices. Your instruments will always keep in time: Pyramid is the heartbeat of your studio.

You can also use Pyramid sequencer as a rock-solid interface box for your MIDI, USB MIDI & CV/GATE setup:

filter note/clock/start stop/cc/pitch/aftertouch messages

route MIDI in to USB MIDI out

convert MIDI in to CV/GATE output and add effects

convert CV/GATE in to MIDI out

convert MIDI IN clock to DIN SYNC

Even if you use a DAW as your primary sequencer, Pyramid will become an indispensable Swiss knife!

Record a performance at any time with the built-in keyboard, the smartpads (generates chords, scales or repeats), the touchpad, the 5 encoders or an external controller... with true polyphony and high precision!

You can even use the midi looper mode, in the style of audio looper pedals. Live improvisation recording has never been so easy!

Create and arrange complex rhythms and melodies with the full realtime step sequencer, or edit your live recording.

The piano roll view clarifies notes and drums programming. Change the pitch, the velocity, the width and the offset of each note, in a flash. Zoom in (up to 1600%) to surgically edit the track. As Pyramid is fully polyphonic, a step can contain an unlimited number of notes!

Create CC or FX automation with the touchpad or with the 16 pads.

Create an infinite number of automation per track! Slide the touchpad to draw the automation, or use the 16 pads to edit or add step-lock parameters.

Pyramid offers one algorithmic euclidean sequencer engine per track, auto generating uncommon and rich rhythmic patterns. Almost all traditional rhythms from across the world can be generated with this tool.

Change the number of total steps, the number of filled steps, the step width, rotate the pattern, all of this on the fly. The displayed euclidean circle helps you to visualize the pattern.

Once your tracks are created, Pyramid offers several ways to play with your sequences: mute/unmute your 64 tracks on the fly, launch sequences (group of tracks), or chain sequences to create a complete, structured song.

You can choose to perform your tracks and sequences in sync (1 bar, 2 bars, ...) or not. It's even possible to play in sync with one beat resolution, a new way to improvise with sequences!

Pyramid includes 5 clickable encoders and a wide touchpad.

You can easily assign any of these controls to an effect parameter or a midi CC message by pressing the "assign" button, and recording the automation. Even the two CV analog inputs can be assigned - it's up to your imagination!

Portable 16-track sequencer with built-in synthesis & sampling
Notes: Centred around an advanced 16-track sequencer where all tracks run independently, OP-Z makes individual track speed and track length possible. In addition to this, it's possible to add unique step behaviours to every one of the 16 steps: a feature we call step components. Think of this as dual layer sequencing where the first layer is a traditional 16 step sequencer, while the second layer adds variation per cycle, note variation, micro sequencing, direction, parameter changes, re-trig's and much more, all on just one single step. In theory, it's possible to create a complete song by programming only the 1st step of the 16, using multiple step components to create endless variations, a technique recommended for experts and engineers only. Seriously, in some situations it's actually almost impossible to predict the complete length of a sequence. So, we created a special component for those situations named 'catch up', that forces a track to exit at a certain step to stay in sync. In total, there are 14 components sorted into 3 groups: triggers, note variations and specials.

All 14 components have 10 values and behaviour programs. The product of all this is that you have 140 ways to alter just one single step. Probably more than most people can handle. And to make step composing really intuitive and super-fast, all keys are backlit with multi-colour LED's with instant machine feedback, a must-have for poorly lit club gigs and late-night-in-bed composing. Actually, the print on the unit itself is made with a special glow-in-the dark-paint. A pretty cool 'world's first' for synthesizers.

Bring your own screen:

OP-Z is a completely stand-alone synthesizer and composer, ready to be used at anytime and anywhere, but for those of you who need that extra injection of vibrant graphics, interactive user interface and awesome synced animations to feel inspired, we introduce the concept of BYOS - bring your own screen. You already have the phone with that gorgeous retina display in your pocket, right? Just download the OP-Z app, pair the two devices and you are all set. Add cellular connectivity, WiFi and powerful graphics processing to that, and the concept certainly makes sense. All this tech when connected to the OP-Z adds several unique features - like using the phone's camera, snapping a series of photos and arranging them to a beat, creating a synchronised music video 'a-la-minute'.

We support Dropbox on IOS as well, so transfer of your custom artwork on to your IOS device will be instant and without cables. To eliminate any latency between image and sound, we ported the OP-Z sound engine to run simultaneously on your IOS device. Something we call 'dual domain synthesis'.

Photomatic:

Snap a series of photos and sequence them to a beat. Compose a song and create a completely synchronised music video 'a-la-minute'. The included photomatic feature is just pure instant fun.

Custom graphics:

By adding any artwork or a photo to your IOS device camera roll or to a Dropbox folder, you can create high quality custom graphics, patterns, colour palettes or stop motion videos. Anything can be animated in pace with your music.

Create your own world:

OP-Z is tailor made for unity 3D, the world's most popular multi-platform game engine. Chosen because of its intuitive workflow and excellent VR support. A dedicated OP-Z toolkit for unity will be available at launch that opens up the entire machine.

Full unity 3D integration:

Teenage engineering have worked closely with Keijiro Takahashi and the unity Tokyo studio to fully integrate OP-Z with the unity game engine. As Keijiro-san is both a full time software evangelist at unity and a renowned VJ at night, we have had access to a selection of Keijiro-san's personally developed tools and shaders which deliver stunning 3D graphics that run at full speed on iPhone or iPad. Keijiro-san's tool-set and real life experience in performances with motion graphics have been invaluable in making OP-Zan inspiring live tool for moving images in sync with music. The weakest point of VJ-ing has always been the creation of content. By exposing the inner control data of the OP-Z and linking it to unity, users can create anything within unity, build the project and just drop the build to a Dropbox folder. Customizing every single polygon in a performance.

If it don't have tape, it's not OP:

The new tape feature is probably one of the coolest sonic features of the OP-Z. Imagine a short snippet of tape secretly recording everything that is programmed in the sequencer - all in real-time. And with its own dedicated track it's possible to sequence the tape, trig the in-point, length and speed. OP-Z will come with a range of tape reels with unique character and functions. Scrub, scratch, wind-up and mess-up!

Notes: The Zeus Studio Bus is Tiptop Audio's next generation of the Zeus Eurorack power system and is the world's only high-power system that can guarantee low noise with minimal bleed-through between modules for a clear sounding synth. The power supply is the backbone of your modular system and will define how well it all works; this is not some simple circuit that flashes LEDs on but is a complex analog circuit, not something you want to chance with the various boutique power supplies.

The Zeus SB takes the next step to simplify wiring up power into cases that scale from a simple 3U row to complete walls of modular synthesizers, all done without dealing with hot AC power lines. The Zeus system comprises of an external brick Cincon-TTA power supply, Zeus Access and a Zeus Studio Bus, providing everything needed for a DIY or a professional Eurorack case. The Zeus Studio Bus board is equipped with fourteen Eurorack standard power connectors and two AS power connectors. Connecting wires to and from the board is done using a spring action connector, no special tools are needed, all it takes is to push the lever down and insert the wire. The spring action connector provides multiple points of connection allowing for different types of power configurations, starting with simple daisy chains and up to professional multi-thread star wiring. At the heart of the Zeus SB is our new design of discrete linear power regulators, aimed at providing robust, Low noise studio-grade power to deal with today's growing challenge of a great selection of modules from many different manufacturers that must share the same power bus. And with an eye towards the future, the Zeus SB prepares you for the new wave of high-current digital modules and the upcoming Tiptop Audio Analog Polyphonic system.

10 channel analog mixing desk with effects and free bundled audio production software
Notes: For a more precise control and enhancement of your sound, XU models of the MG Series come equipped with a suite of Yamaha's renowned SPX effects. Featuring high-resolution Chorus, Flanger, Distortions, Reverb and Delay, all with editable parameters, these are the same multieffects processors used on Yamaha's high-end mixing consoles, giving you the tools you need to elevate your mixes to a higher plane.

For more than a century, Yamaha has been building a legacy of superior craftsmanship and innovation exemplified in all of our products, from an unrivalled catalog of world-class musical instruments to touring-grade professional audio. Now in its third incarnation, the MG Series embodies this pursuit of design excellence, and incorporates some of the same technologies developed for use in high-end professional consoles, including studio-quality preamps, powerful digital processing, and a rugged, reliable construction. With an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, the MG Series boasts an extensive lineup of compact mixing consoles with models ranging from six to twenty channels, suitable for a diverse range of users and applications. For installed, recording, or live music settings, the solid construction and flexible design of these consoles lets you shape your sound with confidence, continually delivering peak performance and a level of sound quality and reliability unrivalled in its class.

Yamaha has always strived to provide sound engineers with the purest possible signal instead of added processing or color to give it a "signature" sound, and the MG Series is no exception. Embracing this philosophy of transparent sound, these mixing consoles deliver a level of sonic purity and sound quality that is unmatched in their class.

Everything you do as a sound engineer is dependent on the quality of your preamps, which determines the direction your mix will take, and ultimately how good it is going to sound. MG Series mixing consoles feature Yamaha's studio-grade discrete class-A D-PRE preamps, which utilize an inverted Darlington circuit comprising two cascading transistors in a configuration that provides more power with lower impedance. Delivering fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs, with very low distortion, D-PRE preamps possess an impressively wide frequency range that allow them to handle signal from any audio source without overly amplifying any specific elements of the sound.

The head amp determines sound quality, and op-amp integrated circuits are one of the most important parts in the head amp circuit. MG Series mixers feature new, high-quality, custommade MG01 op-amps that we developed in cooperation with the semiconductor manufacturer. Although many other Op-amps prioritize electrical design and efficiency, we worked directly with the semiconductor manufacturer to focus on sound quality first.

With phantom power, MG Series consoles allow you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and high sound quality of condenser microphones. The input channel with PAD switch accepts MIC to line level of inputs, PAD Switch attenuates high input signals that often accompany mic'ed instruments during performance, avoiding the clippingthat can seriously affect your mix.
