Tusk says, "The title track from TW15 was conceived after a particular heavy Tusk Wax label party at Renate in Berlin. I went back to my old pal PORK INTL's place for a bit of drunk studio time and told him all about the living legend that is Gizzy the Fox. A couple of bottles of wine later and I was telling the story to a microphone and we were writing an oddity of a track. If you have had the pleasure to meet Gizzy and spend time in Renate you might understand the lyrics, if not, they'll probably just sound like the rantings of a drunk man, funny that."

Review: By the time of their third studio album, English electronic pair Goldfrapp were already big news. Here they combined pop and electronic styles to critical effect, with a no 2 slot on the album charts coming in the first week of release. Lead single "Oh La La" went on to become the band';s biggest ever selling single and further singles "Number 1", "Ride a White Horse" and "Fly Me Away" also climbed high in the charts around the world. There's everything from in your face pop to glossy disco beats, glam style beats and lush synth ballads. Brash but beautiful, it's an English pop classic.

Review: With a catalogue that contains a mixture of mind-altering chuggers, deep house, disco and Balearic beats, second-guessing what Craig Bratley will release next has always been a tricky proposition. Even so, joining forces with Brooklyn maverick - and honey-voiced singer - Amy Douglas for a spot of bleeping revivalist synth soul was one of them. Douglas is at her emotive best on the B-side original mix, singing sweetly about complicated relationships over a thrillingly lo-fi low-tempo groove rich in squelchy bass and 8-bit lead lines. The A-side 'Ashigaru Dub' is arguably even better, brilliantly re-framing the track as a heady, intoxicating and sub-heavy dub workout of the sort that Mad Professor probably knocks out in his sleep. In a word: inspired!

Review: Small but well formed label Addictive Pleasure Real Healing hits release number five and it takes the form of a three way split. Nephews opens up with the lithe house funk of 'To The Basement' complete with wet claps and steamy vocal coos, then Retromigration pumps a deep, jazzy house mood with 'Simpel' that is light up by some great work on the keys. DimSum is the third artists and offers some sax laced Balearic beats with 'Up & Away' which becomes a more lazy and lounging affair in the hands of remixer Alex Attias.
