Adjust controls on the fly via an expression pedal. All this and more in an elegant, easy-to-use pedal.

BigSky MX features a staggering amount of computing power - it uses a high performance tri-core 800 MHz ARM processor - all dedicated to producing truly breathtaking reverbs. Strymon's new reverb algorithms were meticulously created by hand, and then a state-of-the-art gradient descent optimization algorithm was used to dial out any undesirable ringing or artifacts. This type of neural fine-tuning is based upon the same techniques that have enabled the recent AI revolution, and the result is springs that drip and splash, physical spaces you can really feel yourself in, and the sweetest possible musical response to every note you play.

BigSky MX allows you to use two reverbs at once, for powerful sound sculpting and expansive reverb sounds that evolve organically over time. You can switch between reverb engines with a single button press while editing, and easily see the Series, Parallel or Split audio routing state clearly displayed onscreen.

For a more interactive experience, you can dedicate a footswitch to control each reverb's on/off state if you desire.

BigSky MX features seven brand new reverb algorithms built from the ground up, plus new features and enhancements for the classic BigSky algorithms. Impulse and Chamber were created specifically for BigSky MX, and Spring, Plate, Hall, Room and Shimmer boast entirely new handcrafted algorithms while still giving you access to the original BigSky voices for each one.

BigSky MX gives you powerful editing tools to intuitively manipulate impulse responses in real time. Set decay envelopes, gate the reverb tail, reverse the entire IR, resample on the fly to shorten or stretch the impulse, and create infinitely sustaining granular pads at the press of the Infinite footswitch. Any compatible audio file can be loaded, allowing you to use convolution reverbs for everything from hyper-realistic spaces to wacky experimentation.

Strymon Compadre Dual Voice Compressor & Clean/Dirty Boost Effects Pedal
Cat: 1060614 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Anaogue compression & boost pedal with MIDI functionality
Notes: Your Dream Tone Starts Here.

Start your signal chain with the best possible version of your guitar tone. Treat your guitar signal to true studio quality analogue compression with two distinct voices for smooth transparency or vintage squeeze. Hit the Boost switch to add clean boost or soft-clipped dirty boost, with the EQ curve of your choice. Mix in some dry signal for natural attack even with extreme compression settings. Feel the perfectly tailored dynamic response, feeding your amp and effects just what they need to sound their best.

Your Everything Upgrade.

From pickups, tubes, capacitors, to speaker cabinets-the aspects of a rig that can be upgraded or changed are nearly endless. Plug in Compadre and you may find you already have everything you need for the tone you've been seeking.

Bring out your amp's character in ways you never thought possible. Compadre's Class A JFET input circuit, studio quality analogue compression, and musically voiced analogue boost circuits all work together to make your amp sound like it was just modified by a world-class boutique amp designer.

Super Flexible, Super Easy.

Compadre gives you everything you need to shape your front end tone, and nothing to slow you down. Auto makeup gain and auto threshold mean that all you have to do is turn up the Compression knob to dial in the desired amount. Compadre's wide variety of tone shaping features are all designed to easily sound great across a wide variety of settings.

Two Distinct Analogue Compression Circuits.

Choose between two compression circuits, each with its own unique character. Studio mode gives you the smooth, beautifully transparent compression typically found in the best vintage studio rack units. For a harder compression effect typical of classic guitar pedals, Compadre's Squeeze mode is designed to deliver heavy compression with maximum sustain.

Boost the Sweet Spot, Clean or Dirty.

Compadre gives you two distinct analogue boost circuits: a clean boost, and a dirty boost that introduces soft clipping, characteristic of an overdrive pedal. The selectable boost EQ ensures the perfect compliment to any guitar and amp combination. Add sparkle and shine with a treble boost, fatten your tone with the midrange boost, or level up the full frequency range with flat mode.

Extended Control.

Connect an expression pedal to add premium VCA-based volume control. Add an optional MiniSwitch or MultiSwitch Plus to store and recall your favourite settings. Integrate Compadre into a MIDI pedalboard using the MIDI EXP Cable and access up to 300 preset locations.

Vintage Inspiration, Modern Execution.

The Compadre design project started with a study of some of the finest analogue compressors ever created, inspiring and guiding the circuit design process. Utilizing a VCA in the compression circuits allowed Strymon to carefully tune the exact response and dynamics that were desired for each voicing.

For Studio mode, the goal was to achieve the musical and transparent sound found within Strymon's favourite studio rack units and the best vintage studio console bus compression. Careful tuning of the detection circuit provided Strymon with exacting control over decay, especially important for Squeeze mode. With ample sustain on tap, Strymon paid special attention to creating a completely smooth decay, with no unwanted pumping artifacts.

Strymon DIG V2 Dual Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 1059518 Rel: 22 Jan 25

digital delay pedal offering three voicings
Notes: DIG unearths the true soul of digital delay and doubles it; two simultaneous, integrated delays with captivating rack delay voicings from the 1980s and today, for incredible expressive potential. Rack-mount digital delays of the '80s ushered in a new era of audio effects. The innovative electronic designs generated the cleanest delays that had yet been heard, but also created their own special and intriguing sonic characteristics. Thirty-plus years later, these sounds remain as distinctive and inspiring as ever.

Strymon's thorough investigation of digital delay technology reveals the unique personalities that these delays possess. Delve into DIG's three digital delay voicings: the early '80s adaptive delta modulation mode, the mid-'80s 12 bit pulse code modulation mode, and the modern high-resolution 24/96 mode. The second generation DIG keeps the same distinctive rack-mount digital delay tones from Strymon's original and adds significant new features, incorporating technological advancements, hardware improvements and design enhancements to give you additional flexibility, power, and ease of use on stage and in the studio.

Full MIDI implementation means you can control just about every switch, knob, and setting remotely by sending MIDI commands from your controller or DAW via DIG's EXP/MIDI jack or USB-C connection. Delay time can be synchronized via MIDI Clock Sync, and the sync setting can be saved for each preset. 300 MIDI preset locations are available for loading and saving your favorite settings.

A premium analog JFET input circuit ensures superb responsiveness to your playing, and you can select mono or stereo input with the flick of a rear panel switch. All this, plus a new ARM DSP chip provides more processing power for every sonic nuance, with less energy consumption on your pedalboard.

The powerful tone knob control sets the feedback filter response for tailoring the sound of your echoes. Fast and intuitive to use, it is actually two filters on one control: Turn left for high cut and right for low cut, or set at 12 o'clock for a flat response.

Strymon EC-1 Single Head dTape Echo Effects Pedal
Cat: 1074276 Rel: 10 Mar 25

Experience the dreamy sound of a classic '60s tape echo complete with the harmonic richness of the accompanying tube preamp
Notes: The legendary Strymon deliver quality goods once again with this analogue-inspired stereo delay. Single head sound gives a classic 60s vibe with modulation and subtle imperfections.

Supplier's Notes:
Experience the dreamy sound of a classic '60s tape echo complete with the harmonic richness of the accompanying tube preamp. Enjoy organic and ethereal modulation produced by countless subtle mechanical imperfections, and easily dial in anything from warm slapback to expansive echo feedback beds with a strikingly gorgeous stereo image. With beautifully-tuned low frequency response, lush tape saturation and sublime echo decay, EC-1 provides all the best of what a tube driven tape echo can deliver.

EC-1 offers impressive power and flexibility in a small and elegant form factor: Selectable tube-modeled preamp voices. Artifact-free tap tempo. Discrete stereo operation for independent processing of the left and right stereo inputs. Straightforward controls and expression pedal capability. High-impedance, ultra-low noise discrete Class A JFET stereo input preamp for exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamics and feel. MIDI control of tempo, patch save/recall and more. Premium components, rugged construction and a USB jack for performing firmware updates or controlling the pedal from a computer.

Featuring meticulous tube modeling techniques, EC-1 offers a choice of two authentically reproduced preamp circuits that lend a subtle vintage character to your input signal. One is based on the classic EP-2 tube preamp and features an enhanced high-end shelf perfect for brightening up darker humbuckers. The other preamp option (the default setting) produces a warm, balanced response based on the modded preamp circuit in the EP-2 unit that we studied during the development of EC-1. This option adds a pleasing sense of heft, especially to single-coils. Both preamp choices offer an optional boost of up to +6dB, or the preamp can be bypassed for an unprocessed dry signal if desired.

Strymon's unique dTape technology was first developed for El Capistan, and they have expanded on it to reproduce all the inspiring nuances weencountered while studying a recently-acquired tube Echoplex that was in uncommonly superb condition. Our dTape system allows precise replication of every aspect of every tape echo we've studied, and in EC1 this includes the effect of the moving head, the tape condition, the bias setting, the mechanical effects of motors, capstan slippage and all the irregularities that add up to create the unmistakable, inspiring sound of vintage tape echo repeats.

Whether you want the cleanest repeats, subtle fattening or even downright dirty echos, you can instantly dial in the desired amount of tape saturation with the flip of a switch. Providing pleasing tonal shifts from thinner to fatter, EC-1's three-way Record Level toggle switch selects the gain of the signal fed into the virtual record head. Choose the low position for unity gain with optimized bias for the cleanest repeats, medium for a 6dB input signal boost with increased bias for slightly saturated repeats, or high for a 12dB input signal boost with further increased bias for heavily saturated repeats. This control also gives you a fast and easy way to match EC-1's response to your input signal level to obtain the desired sound from any pickup type or pedalboard configuration.

For EC-1, fluctuations from motors and mechanical components were thoroughly studied to accurately capture their imperfections. At the lower end of the Mechanics control's range only slower motor-related wow and flutter are present, but at around one o'clock these fluctuations are reduced in favor of faster disturbances from crinkle, splices, and capstan slippage which accurately replicate the sound of our golden EP-2 unit. This setting can create uniquely reverberant and three-dimensionalechos that spread across the stereo spectrum. The slower fluctuations are mixed back in more prominently as you approach the maximum Mechanics setting, and the unique combination of multiple imperfections create truly gorgeous, organic stereo modulation effects unlike anything you've ever heard.

The frequency characteristics of tape echo repeats are determined in part by the bandwidth of the actual tape stock, so older tapes will have a lower bandwidth with a warmer top end. EC-1 allows you to faithfully reproduce these characteristics by turning up the Tape Age knob for warmer repeats, or turning it toward minimum for the full-bandwidth sound of fresh tape.

EC-1 is designed to allow high levels of repeats that are truly lush but that don't spiral into uncontrollable feedback. That wide sweet spot on the edge of runaway feedback can create intriguing sound beds under your lead or rhythm playing. Of course if you want to crank the Repeats control to maximum and play with the unique pitch effects that only a sliding record head tape echo can produce, those effects are all precisely replicated in sound and response.

Round Amp - Based on* a Fender Deluxe Reverb

The Deluxe is one of the most recorded amps in history for good reason. This amp is clean, bright, and mid-scooped, with plenty of headroom. At higher Drive settings it delivers an overdriven sound unique to its architecture. Strymon chose the Deluxe's Normal channel for its round tone that plays well with pedals. While preserving access to all the tones originally available with this channel, our model gives you something extra: a midrange control. With the midrange at noon, you get the original fixed-resistor value and standard tonal characteristics of the Deluxe. Turn down the midrange for a more scooped sound, or turn it up for tweed-era tones.

Chime Amp - Based on* the Brilliant channel of a Vox AC30

The amp that defined the guitar sound of the British Invasion. Our model of the AC30 Brilliant channel (Top Boost) is jangly, bright, and chimey, providing air for subtle passages with a light touch, and bite when you want to dig in. For this amp, the Middle knob acts a Tone Cut knob, providing high-end roll-off just before the power tubes, per the original AC30 design. In addition to the full available gain of the original amp, toward the top end of the Drive knob's range of travel, Strymon have added a frequency-shaped front end boost to tighten the low end while driving the amp further into saturation.

Punch Amp - Based on* a Marshall Plexi (Super Lead model number 1959)

This powerful amp is meatier, with higher gain than the other two amps, and has a powerful midrange response. This amp features a buttery, smooth overdrive. At higher Drive settings it will deliver all the high gain distortion and growl this amp is known for, and then some. Setting the Drive control at around 2 o'clock gets you the maximum gain the original Plexi design allowed. Beyond that, our model has some additional gain on tap, giving you access to custom hot-rodded Plexi high gain tones.

Strymon Magneto Tape Delay Module
Cat: 1061145 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Tape delay module that can double as a looper, phrase sampler, spring reverb and more
Notes: Packed with powerful features while maintaining intuitive playability, Strymon's Magneto module is a stereo multi-head tape delay that also functions as a looper, phrase sampler, vintage spring reverb unit, phase-aligned clock multiplier, chaotic oscillator, zero latency sub-oscillator and more, with extensive CV I/O.

Turn simple monophonic signals into complex orchestrations. Create new oscillator tones using self-oscillation. Add rich stereo dimension to your sound, and enjoy the inherent warmth and sweet, subtle distortion characteristics of magnetic tape. Magneto transforms even the smallest rack into a fully expressive, immersive instrument.

To capture the full experience and complexity of a vintage tape echo machine, every last tape system attribute was relentlessly studied and faithfully recreated. From the sought-after natural saturation and soft clipping of magnetic tape when driven hard, to hands-on real-time controls for tape age, tape crinkle, and mechanical wow and flutter, Magneto delivers a rich multi-head delay experience that adds life and vibe to your sound.

Every function, control, gain stage, and signal path component in Magneto works together to respond musically and smoothly, even during the wildest live modular improvisations. All this is combined with a luxurious spring reverb to take the sound of your modular setup to a new level, and your sonic explorations into far-out territories.

Not only does Magneto deliver the warm, luscious delay signals that tape delays are known for, it is also capable of a high degree of saturation. Turn up the Record Level knob to send a hot signal to the record head for any amount of tape saturation you desire. Turn up the Tape Age control for warmer repeats. Add some truly beautiful Spring Reverb. Magneto adds organic heart and soul to the sound of your modular.

The effect of the Low Cut and Tape Age knobs are explored, followed by the mechanical 'deterioration' of the machine with the Crinkle and Wow and Flutter controls. The Speed knob is put to use for sonic enhancement.

In a typical digital effect the dry signal gets converted to digital, causing conversion noise and latency. Signals are often attenuated before combining digital dry and wet, with makeup gain amplifying the conversion noise. To avoid this scenario, Strymon have equipped Magneto with a completely analog dry path. Why go to all this trouble? Because the improvements in dynamic range and reduction in noise are so dramatic.

Strymon have outfitted Magneto with the powerful Analog Devices SHARC ADSP-21369 processor, which provides a 366 MHz core instruction rate, and an incredible 2.4 Gigaflops of peak performance. Thanks to this high-powered technology platform within Magneto, we had the freedom to craft our processor-intense tape echo algorithms without compromise.

Strymon Multiswitch Plus Footswitch Pedal
Cat: 1062111 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Footswitch pedal to compliment Strymon effects pedals
Notes: Want instant access to three presets for Sunset or Riverside? Or to unlock the full potential of Volante? Connect MultiSwitch Plus with the included 1/4" TRS cable and add a new dimension to your rig.

MultiSwitch Plus can be configured in several different ways to extend floor control of compatible Strymon pedals. Depending on the selected mode and the pedals connected, you can recall presets, change banks, operate TimeLine's looper, remotely tap tempos, and more. Featuring three outputs, MultiSwitch Plus allows you to connect up to three compatible Strymon pedals using additional TRS cables (sold separately). Now you can engage presets on Sunset, Riverside, and Volante simultaneously. Or mix and match the footswitches to set up your own custom operation - such as controlling tap tempo on your Flint, Favorite on your El Capistan, and Boost on your Riverside.

Add a MultiSwitch Plus to your Sunset, Riverside, or Volante and gain instant access to presets 1, 2, and 3. Or connect all three pedals to MultiSwitch Plus using additional TRS cables (sold separately) to access three synchronized presets on all three pedals simultaneously. Connect MultiSwitch Plus to Volante for additional footswitchable control. Use MultiSwitch Plus for remote operation of the SPEED switch, remote transport control, or for additional foot control while in Sound on Sound mode.

Use MultiSwitch Plus to remotely toggle Volante's Speed switch. Instantly alter the speed of the media, changing the fidelity and creating layered multi-octave textures. Volante provides the unique ability to reverse, pause, and infinitely repeat the delayed sounds. MultiSwitch Plus opens the door to even more immediate and expressive control of these functions. MultiSwitch Plus provides remote access to three of Volante's Sound on Sound functions. When in Sound On Sound mode, MultiSwitch Plus allows control over infinite repeats, pause, and reverse functions.

Not only does MultiSwitch Plus give you full control over TimeLine's Looper in a simple, compact format, it also unlocks three additional looping features: Reverse, Half Speed, and Undo/Redo. Use MultiSwitch Plus to control your TimeLine Looper in two different ways. MultiSwitch Plus allows instant access to TimeLine's Record/Overdub, Play, and Stop functions without holding the TAP switch to enter Looper Mode. Easily access looping features while retaining footswitch control over your delay sounds. Hold TimeLine's TAP switch to enter looper mode, and MultiSwitch Plus now gives you instant access to Reverse, Half Speed, and Undo/Redo. Gain access to a versatile, 6-button looper that is excellent for live looping and experimentation.

MultiSwitch Plus provides an alternate way to explore presets and set tempos on your TimeLine, BigSky, and Mobius.

MultiSwitch Plus gives you a new means of exploring preset banks. Use the left switch to move down a bank, right switch to move up a bank, and middle switch to cycle through your presets within the current bank. A great way to explore all of your presets. Use MultiSwitch Plus to recall the perfect preset on your TimeLine, BigSky, or Mobius. Easily scroll through saved presets using the left and right switches, and engage/bypass the preset you have selected with the middle switch. Use MultiSwitch Plus to scroll through your saved presets and control your tap tempo all at once. Strymon Ojai Multi-Power Supply
Strymon Ojai Multi-Power Supply (effect pedal power supply)
Cat: 1061991 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Pedal board power supply offering 5 ultra low noise 9v outputs for guitar and bass pedals.
Notes: Huge horsepower, small size Power your pedals with Ojai-the highest horsepower, most technologically advanced effects pedal power supply of its size. Ojai delivers clean, rock-steady power to your effects pedals in a lightweight and expandable package, giving you flexibility and room to grow. You get five high-current, individually isolated, ultra-low-noise outputs-each with its own dedicated regulator and custom transformer. Each output provides a massive 500mA of current.

Ojai's dual-stage topology, pre-regulated outputs, optically isolated feedback, and advanced multistage filtering result in a power supply that allows your pedals to achieve their highest possible dynamic range. Ojai's all analog circuitry offers two stages of isolation, completely eliminating ground loop and AC line noise issues, allowing your pedals to sound like they were designed to sound.

Is your pedalboard growing? Gain more outputs by connecting additional Ojai units to the 24V Thru jack. Or use Ojai to add five more outputs to our Zuma power supply (sold separately). Ojai is part of a truly expandable, modular power distribution system that can grow with your pedalboard.

Many popular guitar pedals were originally designed to work with batteries. Since batteries are inherently very low noise and not susceptible to ground loops, these pedals often were not designed to be resistant to noise from power supplies. Strymon's ultra-low-noise design prevents power noise from bleeding into the audio signal, allowing your pedals to deliver the highest possible dynamic range.

Playing gigs all around the world? No need to purchase separate power supplies for your international tour. Ojai has automatic worldwide power compatibility built-in (when connected with the appropriate IEC cable). Whether you're on 120V, 240V, 100V, or any variation in between, Ojai will deliver clean, reliable power to your pedals, even if the venue has dirty power.

Ojai's all analog circuitry offers two stages of isolation. Each of the five output channels is individually isolated from the 24V DC, and the 24V DC is isolated from the AC input power, eliminating ground loop and AC line noise issues. Ojai also provides dual power regulation: Wide-bandwidth optically isolated feedback loops on each channel, as well as on the input, allow both the input and outputs to adjust for changes, ensuring solid output under changing load conditions.

Don't let the blue chassis fool you: Ojai is green at heart. Significantly more efficient than linear power supplies, Ojai is able to deliver substantially more current while handling a much wider range of input voltages. Ojai's high efficiency design delivers high-current power distribution in a compact unit, for a small carbon footprint and a small pedalboard footprint.

Strymon has solved the switching power supply problem. With their dual-stage topology, pre-regulated outputs, optically isolated feedback, and advanced multistage filtering, they have designed a switching power supply that is actually quieter than linear units.

Strymon Starlab Time-Warped Reverb Module (black)
Cat: 1061951 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Reverb module with a powerful pre-delay, allowing for additional delay, chorus and flanger effects
Notes: Expand the sound of your modular rack with incredibly lush, ethereal reverbs. Enhance signals with gorgeous chorus, flanging, and modulated delays. Create uniquely expressive synth voices with Karplus-Strong string synthesis. StarLab is a single module that will completely transform your modular rack.

The seemingly simple idea of allowing the pre-delay signal to be fed directly to the module's output led to the development of rich sounding delay, chorus, and flanger effects, all of which can be used together with or independent of the reverb.

While experimenting with short delay times using feedback and filtering, Strymon began finding very musical and expressive Karplus-Strong string synthesis sounds, and realized that StarLab could move beyond signal processing and become a truly unique voice module as well. All this ultimately resulted in the creation of a module that is equal parts reverb, delay/ modulation, and playable instrument.

From patch creation to live performance, StarLab's powerful features are easily accessible at the turn of a knob or the touch of a button. With no menus to wade through, StarLab's interface is designed for intuitive hands-on sonic exploration, while every function and control works together to respond musically and smoothly.

From perfectly voiced room ambience to vast, immersive, nearly infinite decays, StarLab offers the pinnacle of premium reverb sounds with unparalleled depth and spaciousness. Add musical intervals to the reverb signal with Shimmer, and enhance the harmonic spectrum with Glimmer, while enjoying real-time control over the size/pitch of the reverb process.

StarLab has vastly expanded what reverb pre-delay can do by allowing you to bus the pre-delay signal to the output while making the pre-delay time a modulation target. This results in the ability to create rich choruses, sweeping flanger effects, and beautiful modulated delays, while also processing signal through the reverb.

In addition to input signal processing, StarLab is a powerful Karplus-Strong string synthesis voice module that allows freely alternating bowing and plucking as well as dynamic string damping. This results in an astoundingly expressive and lifelike instrument with a unique voice all its own, which can be enhanced and expanded by the full range of StarLab's reverb capabilities.

Strymon Ultraviolet Vintage Vibe Effects Pedal
Cat: 1058817 Rel: 21 Jan 25

Vibe and chorus pedal offering a variety of vintage style tonal options
Notes: A warm grittiness to the warble, a rippling, wooshing, bubbling irregularity to the modulation and a dynamic response to your picking are all hallmarks of the true vibe experience. Thicker and chewier than any chorus, earthier than any phaser and uniquely magical in front of a driven amp, the perfect vibe pedal moves you to dig in and play without inhibition. This feeling has been difficult to find outside of large and expensive fully-analog boutique units, but the search for that elusive experience is now over.

UltraViolet's simple and responsive controls provide a wider range of sounds than traditional vibe pedals. In addition to the familiar Chorus (50% wet) and Vibrato (100% wet) settings, there is a new Blend setting (30% wet) for an inspiring variety of more subtle effects. A Bias switch gives you three distinct flavors of sweep shape and tone emphasis, allowing for tons of sonic variation. At slow speeds, the intensity range has been expanded beyond that of traditional vibe circuits to push even further into warmly undulating sonic territory.

For UltraViolet's new vibe algorithm, all the elements of the classic optical vibe circuit (and their interdependencies) have been meticulously recreated for a dynamic playing response. From the effects of bias, speed and LFO waveshape on the pulsing of the lamp, to the response of the light-dependent resistors that set the center frequencies of the staggered phasing filters, the entire system has been duplicated and carefully tuned to produce the very best sounds a vibe pedal can offer.

TRS stereo input and output in a dual mono configuration means you can place UltraViolet at any point in your pedal chain with no impact on your stereo image.

Full MIDI implementation with 300 available preset locations ensures that UltraViolet is ready for your MIDI rig. In addition to TRS MIDI, there is a USB-C jack for controlling the pedal via MIDI from a computer or for performing firmware updates. For hands-free control without MIDI you can connect an expression pedal for control over any combination of knobs in any direction (Expression pedal controls Speed by default.) Or attach an optional external switch for tap tempo or favorite recall.

Finally, a high-impedance, ultra-low noise discrete Class A JFET stereo input preamp provides exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamics and feeliall in a rugged and elegantly compact form factor.

Sculpt your soundscape in real time as Volante becomes an extension and expansion of your musical instrument. Infuse your pedalboard with stunning vintage vibes that resonate and inspire.

Overview

Delays For Days.

Three Magnetic Delay Types, Spring Reverb, Looper, and More.

Delivering truly exceptional sound quality and intuitive playability, Volante is designed to radically enhance the sonic expressiveness of your pedalboard. Featuring magnetic drum echo, tape echo, and reel-to-reel studio echo, Volante is a stereo multi-head delay that also offers a looper and vintage spring reverb, with powerful sound-sculpting controls for limitless sonic possibilities.

Vintage Vibe.

To capture the nuance and complexity of classic tape and drum echo machines, every last magnetic delay system attribute was relentlessly studied and faithfully recreated. From the sought-after natural saturation and soft clipping of magnetic media when driven hard, to hands-on real-time controls for mechanics, wear, head-spacing, and low cut, Volante instantly adds tons of vibe to your sound.

Multi-Head Maven.
Volante provides the full experience and sonic attributes of iconic multi-head echo machines. At the centre of Volante's control surface are four delay playback heads with individual feedback, panning, and level controls-delivering unlimited creative options right at your fingertips. All of this range allows the creation of complex rhythmic patterns as well as reverb-like atmospheric textures.

Drum Delay With Unprecedented Control.

Magnetic drum echoes are famous for their warmth and for their harmonically rich and saturated sounds. This is due in large part to the many tube stages present in the most sought-after units. There were tubes in the input buffer, the signal mixer, the record and playback amplifiers, the tone shaping circuit, and the output mixing circuit.

Every sonic aspect of Strymon's favourite drum echoes has been meticulously reproduced within Volante. Dial in any possible sound from the full range of the best vintage drum echo units in conditions ranging from fresh-from-factory to road-worn classic.

Classic Tape Echo Experience.

Volante gives you superbly crafted multi-head tape echoes, including the smooth tape saturation and the characteristic imperfections and nonlinearities inherent to the sound of those vintage machines.

Mechanical alignment, head wear, and tape crinkles, splices, and contaminants are all accounted for in Volante, giving you all the richness and complexity of a classic tape echo, with modern control and stability. Volante also allows you to recreate the irregular head spacing of some of the classic tape echo machines.

True Studio Tape Sound.

The professional reel-to-reel machines of the 50s and 60s were high-fidelity units built to accurately reproduce full-range audio signals. In the hands of creative engineers, these machines also doubled as some of the earliest studio effects, producing some of the fattest sounds imaginable.

Of Volante's three magnetic echo types, the Studio Echo provides the cleanest sound, able to sustain the highest number of repeats with minimal degradation. Volante gives you a pristine studio delay with the full-bodied warmth and fidelity of reel-to-reel tape.

Completely Analogue Dry Path.

In a typical digital effect the dry signal gets converted to digital, causing conversion noise and latency. Signals are often attenuated before combining digital dry and wet, with makeup gain amplifying the conversion noise. To avoid this, Strymon have equipped Volante with a completely analogue dry path, featuring all-analogue, ultra low noise, discrete, class-A stereo JFET preamps. Volante is truly a studio-quality effect.

Insanely Powerful DSP.

Strymon have outfitted Volante with the incredibly powerful Analog Devices SHARC ADSP-21375 processor, which provides a 266 MHz core instruction rate, and an incredible 1.596 Gigaflops of peak performance. Thanks to this high-powered technology platform within Volante, Strymon had the freedom to craft this processor-intense echo algorithms without compromise.

Strymon Zelzah Multi Dimensional Phaser Effects Pedal
Cat: 1060634 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Vintage 4-stage and 6-stage phasing with controls that allow seamless transitions to vibrato, gorgeous flanging and chorus, and new sounds never heard before
Notes: Way Back Machine

Step on Zelzah, play one chord, and you're instantly taken back to a world of classic phaser tones as they were always meant to sound, perfectly voiced, with tons of vibe. Vintage 4-stage and 6-stage phasing with controls that allow seamless transitions to vibrato, gorgeous flanging and chorus, and new sounds never heard before-all instantly musical with great tone all the way across every dial.

Two Effects At Once.

Zelzah is actually two different phasers, side by side in one pedal. Zelzah's 4-stage side gives you a wide array of classic tones ranging from phasing to vibrato and more, while the 6-stage side provides phasing, flanging, chorus, and all points in between. Dial in a chorus on one side and barber pole phaser on other, or a phaser on one side and tremolo on the other. Use the two sides independently or together in a variety of configurations. Zelzah may become the only modulation pedal you keep on your board.

Choose Your 4-Stage Phaser Sweep

Classic Sweep

The first Sweep mode is labelled "Classic" because this is the classic four stage phaser sweep we all know. In this Sweep mode, a single LFO with a warped triangle shape creates that familiar vintage sound.

Barber Sweep

Similar to the visual effect of a barber pole, the Barber sweep is a continuously rising or falling effect that is traditionally done with frequency shifters. In Zelzah, Strymon have used an arrangement of synchronized four stage phasers to produce the effect while maintaining the four stage sound.

Envelope Phaser

Set the Sweep switch to Env and you've got a whole new pedal under your feet. Now the phaser responds to your picking like an envelope filter/auto-wah would, with the phaser sweep being dynamically controlled by your input signal, creating harmonically complex and very funky sounds.

Six Stage Voice: Groundbreaking New Phaser Algorithm

The Voice knob on the six stage side simultaneously controls over 30 different parameters, all working in harmony for an inspiring musical experience.

Not only do you get thick, juicy, phasing with pure vintage vibe, but as you turn the Voice knob clockwise, the groundbreaking new modified all-pass structure expands the time response of the cascading all-pass filters seamlessly and continuously, adding spaciousness and airiness to the sound.

Explore a range of fresh musical tones that are not a mix of phasing and flanging, but actually something entirely new. Turn the Voice knob to the right for luxurious true flanger effects, and continue to the far end of the range for lush vintage chorus sounds. There are inspiring musical sounds at every point along the dial, and so many ways to make a sound that is truly yours.

Strymon Zuma Multi Power Supply
Strymon Zuma Multi Power Supply (ellects pedal power supply)
Cat: 1062015 Rel: 22 Jan 25

Pedal board power supply offering seven ultra low noise 9v and two 9/12/18v outputs for guitar and bass pedals.
Notes: Never worry about power again. Zuma is the highest horsepower, most technologically advanced effects pedal power supply of its kind. Zuma offers nine high-current, individually isolated, ultra-low-noise outputs-each with its own dedicated regulator and custom transformer. Designed to meet the needs of today's players, each output provides a staggering 500mA of current.

Zuma's dual-stage topology, pre-regulated outputs, optically isolated feedback, and advanced multistage filtering result in a power supply that allows your pedals to achieve their highest possible dynamic range.

The all analog circuitry offers two stages of isolation. Each of the nine output channels is individually isolated from the 24V DC, and the 24V DC is isolated from the AC input power, eliminating ground loop and AC line noise issues. Zuma also provides dual power regulation: Wide-bandwidth optically isolated feedback loops on each channel, as well as on the input, allow both the input and outputs to adjust for changes, ensuring solid output under changing load conditions.

With automatic international power compatibility built-in, Zuma delivers an abundance of clean, rock-steady power to all your pedals, on any stage anywhere you play in the world.

Have a growing rig? Zuma is part of an expandable system. Add more outputs by connecting a Strymon Ojai (sold separately) with the 24V Out jack.

Many popular guitar pedals were originally designed to work with batteries. Since batteries are inherently very low noise and not susceptible to ground loops, these pedals often were not designed to be resistant to noise from power supplies. Stymon's ultra-low-noise design prevents power noise from bleeding into the audio signal, allowing your pedals to deliver the highest possible dynamic range.

Playing gigs all around the world? No need to purchase separate power supplies for your international tour. Zuma has automatic worldwide power compatibility built-in (when connected with the appropriate IEC cable). Whether you're on 120V, 240V, 100V, or any variation in between, Zuma will deliver clean, reliable power to your pedals, even if the venue has dirty power.
Do you have pedals that require 12V or 18V? Zuma has you covered. Two channels have selectable 9, 12, or 18V output voltages.

Some analog pedals designed for 9V operation may provide higher output and/or more clean headroom when run at higher voltages such as 12V or 18V. However, others will simply start smoking and melting, so please check with the manufacturer of your pedal before operating at a higher-than-standard voltage!

Don't let the blue chassis fool you: Zuma is green at heart. Significantly more efficient than linear power supplies, Zuma is able to deliver substantially more current while handling a much wider range of input voltages. Zuma's high efficiency design delivers high-current power distribution in a compact unit, for a small carbon footprint and a small pedalboard footprint.

Strymon has solved the switching power supply problem. With their dual-stage topology, pre-regulated outputs, optically isolated feedback, and advanced multistage filtering, we have designed a switching power supply that is actually quieter than linear units.
