Call Super is back on Houndstooth, following up that great Nervous Sex Traffic release on Dekmantel with another killer two tracker entitled New Life Tones. There's some immersive high fidelity deepness to be heard on "Puppet Sense" with its booming baseline, echo laden atmospherics and futuristic sound design taking you somewhere else entirely. On the flip, "New Life Repercussions" gets a four to the floor beat on to power away beneath some tunnelling sonar aesthetics and entrancing pads to marvellous effect. Forward thinking stuff as always from this guy!
