The word on the street is that treasured oddball label and erstwhile record shop Low Company is calling time on its operations with this typically introverted, misfit album from Static Cleaner Lost Reward. The label's astute curation has led unsuspecting listeners to incredible music which doesn't seem to make sense anywhere else, and so it goes with this outstanding final record from Melbroune/Naarm oddity Tarquin Manek. Low Company spell out the vibe of the record best - "echo-distressed, loop-me-crazy song-forms, zonked exotica, slacker-techno and crudely soldered, seasick cyberpunk."
