The Xjam is a small, full-fledged plug-and-play MIDI controller. Due to its solid aluminum chassis, the Xjam is wonderfully portable and ideal for use outside of the studio on mobile devices.

With a 4x4 pad matrix, the 6 endless encoders and the smooth 16 pads, it provides a pleasant and expressive playing experience. In addition, the Xjam offers 48 configurations instead of the usual 16 scenes to save.

Its smooth and ultra-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch are as versatile as the Xjam is in general. The 16 RGB pads also send MIDI CC, MIDI Program Change or MMC messages. There are also 6 high-quality endless encoders on board, which can be used in a variety of ways. In addition to controlling MIDI CC messages, the encoders can be assigned to send pitch, MIDI program change messages or even aftertouch messages. The Xjam comes with a powerful editor software for perfect adaption to your needs. There is also a TRS-MIDI Out socket to send signals to external sound generators.

Notes: The PO16 is a sleek, compact, single-turn rotary potentiometer module for controlling quick motion changes like EQ, filters, or synth parameters.

Equipped with customisable multi-coloured LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each potmeter by changing the colour of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations.

It is recommended that, Grid is connected directly to the computer with the supplied Intech Studio USB-C cable. Some USB hubs may not work with Grid, due to issues with how the various class compliant communication methods establish connection through a hub with the host computer.

Most digital audio workstations can identify Grid as a MIDI controller and appear as a MIDI mappable device. When multiple modules are interconnected, Grid is identified as a single control surface. If the interconnected controllers are plugged in separately into the same Host, they appear as Grid #1, Grid #2 MIDI devices and so forth.

By default, through the Host's MIDI learn functionality, all of the control elements can be mapped. Grid's default firmware uses a unique dynamic assignment, so a 10 module Grid control surface will have unique Channel, Command and CC/Note assignments on each control element.

Grid controllers are shipped with firmware default configuration. To modify the configurations of the controllers, the Grid Editor cross-platform application can be used. Through the Grid Editor, suggested manufacturer profiles and community profiles are also available. Grid has an event driven architecture, where every interaction with the controller triggers an event. The triggered event runs the configured actions, like setting LED colours and intensity.

How to use

- Connect Biotron to your PC, phone, or tablet using the provided USB cable.
- Attach the electrodes to your plant. Ensure they are securely connected to the stems or leaves for optimal conductivity.

- Open Google Chrome and navigate to synth.playtronica.com, then choose any synth you like. Alternatively, use your preferred music software or hardware that accepts MIDI input.

- Interact with your plant by moving your hands near it, touching its leaves, or adjusting environmental factors like light and moisture to influence the sound.

- Experience the unique music generated by your plant's natural electrical activity translated into MIDI signals
