New label Lumbago drop a new, tasty, hand-stamped house belter to soothe all of your winter blues, and it's clear that the imprint are very much here to stay. Instead of going for the glory-hunting, they've decided to release music from a selection of rising names, but from the sounds of "Inappropriate" by 100Hz, the quality factor is very much present. Even Octave's "Racing", a rough, analog house banger with an industrial edge, packs enough of a punch to make us wonder why we haven't been name-dropping him more often. Over on the flip, Nightdrivers member Rufus, who is often heard alongside Mass Prod, drops the supremely funky "Conseguenza", a disco-tinged house roller that's given the dub-house treatment by the increasingly present Cab Drivers.
