Tom Carruthers is a Cheshire based producer who heads up the Non Stop Rhythm imprint which has executed a relentless output since its inception two years ago. Processed World sees him return to Ron Morelli's LIES for his second full-length, where he continues his explorations in classic techno. There are clearly Derrick May-influenced cuts such as the funky opener 'In The Night' and the evocative hi-tech soul of 'Digital Age' on the first side, while the robotic grooves inspired by first wave Detroit continue over on the flip with 'Factory Settings' benefitting from the same 909 syncopated rhythms and the 'Transmat worship' of 'On & On'.
