Boston Dynamics EP

Techno
Komponente - "Acid Explorer" (5:40)
Kurilo - "Eating Raoul" (6:36)
Kurilo - "Not From New York" (5:41)
Komponente - "Boston Dynamics" (5:10)
Review: It's 2024, and we must say, there's no label name less apt to characterise the spirit of the age better than Trance Pandemic Ukraine. With featuring artists Komponente and Kurillo launching their own imprint here - in turn named after the 2023 release 'Trance Pandemic' on fellow Berlin label System Error - their new extended play 'Boston Dynamics' is a DARPA-dogged acid techno acme ("trance" is debatable), fervently embracing the real-world threat of military robotics in sating the all-too-real, present cybernetic human appetite for war. War has, in fact, always been a muse for much electro and techno; the riffling sound design on this one comes backed up by saltatorial leg-kicks and stomping robo-march claps all throughout, and the sinister phase-twists heard most notably on 'Not From New York' do not help let up the mood of downtrodden pugnacity either. Serious stuff!

Review: Konerytmi is mad prolific, as you probably know - as well as this EP, there is also one dropping on Bordello A Parigi this month - but quality levels always remain high. This 'Megapikseli EP' is a high-definition dive into electro-funk with vintage video game soul. Opener 'Kirsikka' delivers laser zaps and crisp 808s, while the title track brings fog-lit chords and mind-bending percussion, followed by Fleck ESC's cinematic, abstract remix. Side B begins with 'Mikropikseli,' a sun-soaked cosmic journey filled with playful effects and radiant leads, and closing track 'Puro' oozes late-night electrosoul, acid basslines and shimmering melodies perfect for anyone who likes groove-rich electro inspired by the golden age of gaming.

Remote Actions On A Non-Linear Path (8:29)
Review: Kop-Z reveals that he first encountered the term 'A Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamic System' in a book costing L2 in a Manchester junk shop. It is a term to describe humans as systems constantly battling entropy and the world's challenges to survive. "But we're also systems that work together, creating art and music," he reflects, appreciating the contrast between opposites like day and night, love and hate. His work merges autobiographical field recordings, looped vinyl and childhood video games with kinetic programming systems that are all influenced by jungle, footwork, noise, rave, post-punk and reggae. The result is a rich fabric of sound that blends human experience with machine chaos.

Seven (Jorg Kuning Bicton Barns remix) (6:37)
Drumhell (extended) (6:08)
Review: It's hard to argue with how much work Koreless, AKA Lewis Roberts, has put into things. Born in Bangor, Wales, but based in Glasgow - currently the most exciting UK city for electronic music production - it took a decade from his debut EP, 4D, to his first album, during which time he participated in the sorely-missed Red Bull Music Academy programme, collaborated with Sampha, performed on Boiler Room TV, embedded himself within the Young Turks camp, wrote with FKA Twigs, and was credited by David Byrne. That's a lot to unpack, so while the bubble wrap is unloaded let's skip to right here, right now. Deceltica is a particularly Koreless collection of tracks, from the opening warning sirens and haunting melodic chimes of 'Seven', to the robot breaks of the title number, and 'Drumhell''s near-reprise of the opening track, a kind of outro to that intro, it's all very good. Then you get fellow Welshman and resident at Manchester's beloved Bakk Heia party, Jorg Kunning, proving why he's up there with the most technically brilliant beat makers.

Lost In Change (6:49)
Whiplash (6:52)
No Exit (7:03)
You Missed It (7:01)
Review: Youssef Benjelloun aka Kosh may run Convergence out of his own Morocco studio, but this time he lends his talents to fellow patrons Syncrophone, for close to 20 minutes' worth of deep techno prowess. With its Ibizan chords and subtly varied sections, 'Lost In Change' proves the lability of techno over time; that slow phrasal evolution need not conflict with in-the-zone flow states. 'No Exit', our favourite track otherwise, brings absurdist Sartrean machinery to a sequenced hell on Earth, going relentless on the 909 toms and claps.

Review: Theo Kottis embarks on his Space Dust odyssey with a 3 track EP providing an array of ample peak-time dancefloor moments. This debut collection of tracks for the label draws largely on Kottis finding nascent inspiration in 90s prog house, and deploys the 303 acid topline as its main sonic vessel. 'Solar' & 'Dreamscape' deliver euphoric breakdowns surrounded by stabbing synths, while 'Cosmic Drift' is a slower burn, building through its chuggy baseline. With Theo onboard, we look forward to exploring more of this musical direction through future releases on Space Dust.

Rasalhague (5:23)
Tiaki (5:43)
Alien Agenda (7:29)
Avior (6:47)
Review: A sense of patient propulsion runs through this one, as Kozstum threads trance-adjacent synthwork through dubby, shuffling frameworks. 'Rasalhague' is all glowing pads and understated swing, while 'Tiaki' steps deeper into low-slung, post-tribal terrain, the drums barely rising above a whisper. 'Alien Agenda' ups the tension with its echo chamber atmospherics and slow acid seep, before 'Avior' opens out into a big-room closer i poised, melodic, and richly psychedelic. The German DJ's years behind the decks show in the pacing: each track keeps something in reserve, stretching the floor's energy rather than blowing it out.

Ipso Facto (4:58)
Equilibrium (5:08)
Review: Kr!z from Ghent, Belgium wastes no time getting to the pointihis latest batch of heavyweight club tools is built for impact and every track hits with precision. Opener 'Defeat The Purpose' kicks things off with a writhing, acidic synth line that coils around thundering drum machine work, setting a relentless tone. It's stripped-back but deadly, fine-tuned for peak-time hypnosis. 'Chrome Dust' takes a funkier turn, its rolling groove and tightly wound percussion making it a surefire body-mover. Playful yet commanding, it balances raw intensity with just enough fluidity to keep dancers locked in. The title track, 'Ipso Facto,' is all about movement, its low-end bounce and sharp drum transitions reflecting Kr!z's DJ instinctsieverything lands exactly where it needs to. Closer 'Equilibrium' ups the energy one last time, filters opening wide over a punchy, rolling rhythm. It's no-nonsense, high-grade techno from a producer who knows exactly how to work a system.

Skyscrapers (5:28)
Review: If you've not heard 'Skyscrapers' yet, where have you been? First released digitally last year and accompanied by more remixes than we can count, the track is arguably Nina Kraviz's most accessible, radio-friendly release to date - a potential crossover anthem that's as cool as it is catchy. Now finally available on vinyl via this single-sided seven-inch, 'Skyscrapers' is a prime piece of what Kraftwerk would have called 'techno-pop', with the much-loved Russian producer's sweet vocals rising above a bed of ultra-crunchy, snare-heavy machine drums, dreamy Chris Lowe chords, gaseous pads and ear-catching lead lines. It's basically synth-pop, but it's classy and sonically deep enough to please all but the angriest underground techno purists.

Tarde (Ricardo Villalobos remix) (14:48)
Tarde (5:31)
Tarde (Melchior Productions LTD Late mix) (7:14)
Review: Nina Kraviz has approached her latest single 'Tarde' with cogent flair, issuing several vinyl remix sets to divvy up and complement a full ten-track digital compilation, made up of a star cast of remixes by major artists. On another 12", Kraviz shortens the full ten tracks to a short selection. The tense, and hummingly fun, original track 'Tarde', released earlier this year, is heard in full effect on this record's B-side, coming complemented by Melchior Productions' phattened 'Late Mix' in the vein of flickering tech house. The A-side is taken up meanwhile by veteran endurance DJ Ricardo Villalobos, whose version of 'Tarde' doesn't care a hoot about tardiness less than it does bask in it, slowly unveiling a clockwork mechanism of spitting schematic beats and tastefully placed vocal shouts from Nina's original acapella.

Tarde (5:29)
Tarde (Vladimir Dubyshkin remix) (5:11)
Tarde (Mala remix) (5:20)
Tarde (U Rtrax rework) (4:52)
Review: Following fresh from her most recent single 'Tarde', the world's best-kept techno titan Nina Kraviz has gone on to enlist an all-star cast of remixers for a decalogue of versions of the track, notably topped off by a pystrance remix. But on this 12", Kraviz shortens the full ten tracks to four, streamlining the selection for the system-respecting DJ. "Tarde" meaning "late" in Spanish, Kraviz' original track is a brooding slow murmur, textured by earthen Reese-esque basses, ambirhythmic rumbles, and amorous lyrics in Spanish sung by Kraviz herself. Though the mood is climactic, Kraviz' subject matter is one of dubiety and anticlimax, standing tiptoed on the fence between giving love and deeming it too late. The remixes are uniformly weird, not eschewing the needs of the club-goer yet not shying from the dare of challenging them either. Of the remixes chosen here, dubstep OG Mala crops up for a surprise dash of steppers' quality; U.R.Trax continues the charge with a tricky but efflorescent minimal version; and Vladimir Dubyshkin opens the floodgates for a wacky big-roomed hard trance floater.

The Pills Of The 90's (Acerbic remix) (5:14)
Review: Krismix's The Pills Of The 90's offers an authentic dive into the world of 90s acid techno. The EP kicks off with the Dynamo City remix of 'The Pills Of The 90's,' a high-octane, sci-fi inspired track that delivers relentless, energetic acid techno. This remix exemplifies the genre's no-holds-barred approach, driving the track with fierce intensity. Following is 'Blast,' a track that embodies the essence of banging, acid-infused techno. Its stomping beat and unyielding energy make it a standout for any techno aficionado. On Side-2, the original 'The Pills Of The 90's' continues the high-energy, acid-driven theme with its powerful, engaging sound. The Acerbic remix then introduces a classic 90s acid techno vibe, featuring a clearer drum kick and a more pronounced acid line, providing a nostalgic yet fresh take on the genre. This EP is a great example at the innovation of 90s acid techno and what it can be today.

Review: Anastasia Kristensen now sits at the top table of the global techno sine. She emerged on a whirlwind a few years ago and has solidified her reputation with electrifying sets that traverse the bass, acid, IDM, rave and techno spectrum with style and captivating energy. Now she once again shows off her production chops with this new EP on her own new label absorb emit. It is the inaugural outing and sets out the sonic stall superbly - 'Cordyceps Disco' is frosty and thumping techno, 'Practice Of Menace' has a more minimal design but no lesser impact, 'Irregularity' rides on busted rhythms with well-swung hits and 'All At Once' is a nice 5am wig out for the late night hours and headier moments. A fine debut.

Open Our Eyes (6:39)
Triton (7:21)
Close Your Eyes (6:29)
Close Your Eyes (Revelation mix) (6:07)
Review: "There are a lot of DJs now, I call them horses...", goes the open-ended narrative exposition of Andre Kronert's 'Open Our Eyes'. Even though the track refuses to erogate any further its musings on other DJs, there is an implied sense of oneupmanship and largesse. Said lay DJs are meant to be jockeys, but they end up defaulting to acting like the "horses" they ride; and here we can be sure that something's gone wrong; that some impinging force, be it economics, be it sheer want of will, has stolen from them their agency, their creativity, resulting in bland, with-the-grain selections. Kronert betrays his stated antagonism - to archetypal lapsing into unthinking fanservice on the part of the DJ - via four turbid, low-slung mini-tech weight heaters, each of which grow increasingly dubby and stabby as the EP progresses; we're asked to 'Close Our Eyes' again by the time of the B1, suggesting an immanent limit to our aspirations as DJs, and those long-tailed piano chords on the 'Revelation mix' also carry serious transcendental implications.

Morgana (Patrik Berg remix) (6:22)
Morgana (Booka Shade remix) (7:14)
Review: German techno figurehead Monika Kruse's latest single 'Morgana' is a fatally attractive one indeed. While the original mix doesn't feature on this vinyl edition for Terminal M, its two remixes by Patrik Berg and Booka Shade bring two further unrelenting, ultrahigh-energy takes to an already intensely layered knockout in the vein of festival stage and/or stadium-ready techno. Berg injects a darker and relatively industrial solution into the original's major vein, amping out its call-to-prayer vocals and panting reeses as prime pre-drop suspenders of tension. Booka Shade's duo remix is much more ambient and building, making clever use of shimmery sample synthesis to evoke something further along the way to a synth-motional sound-nova befitting of a Kruse B-side.

On Side-1, 'Last Days' delivers a moody, ominous minimal techno journey, rich with atmospheric tension. Following is 'C'est Anna,' a deep and dubby techno track that weaves in eerie, haunting elements, perfect for those late-night sets. Drawing inspiration from his time in Berlin and his tours around Europe, the music balances the frenetic energy of big cities with moments of solitude. 'Clarify That' opens with a direct, no-nonsense groove, setting the tone for a release that doesn't linger on nostalgia but instead pushes forward. Tracks like 'Save Kit' work with subtler textures, allowing bass and percussion to breathe, while 'Hanging Around' and 'Slender Machine' explore more unconventional rhythms and sonic space. He specialises in combining dense, thickset grooves with mildly creepy melodic motifs, minor-key riffs and bags of unabashed energy. All those sonic traits can be clearly heard on his latest EP, which marks Campos's first vinyl outing for two years. We're particularly enjoying the panicked urgency of 'Fast Focus' and the entrancing heaviness of 'Impulse', where weirdo electronics and echoing melodic loops catch the ear, but all four cuts are undoubtedly tried and tested peak-time treats.

Review: Megaweight techno by producer Kwartz (Mario Campos) for Polegroup, pulling no punches, kicks or headbutts on this rapid four-track set. The golden mean for a club residency in this day and age is of course a regular peaktime set at Berghain, and Kwartz also happens to be one of their latest residents of this ilk - not that this should influence your decision to buy this one or anything! - though there is a correlation between productive qualities of the producer and the curative choices made at the Berlin clubbing institution. Massive tune 'The Golden Hour' and the Tarkovskyan 'Enter The Zone' both testify to this being causation, though there's no certainties there, of course. 'Under Control' and 'Animal Instinct' forge an increasing rapaciousness, betraying the artist's desire to utterly stupefy the dancefloor.

Shekon's 'Hypno' (Phara remix) kicks off with big, boisterous drum loops full of bounce and swirled with coarse synths. Gotshell takes a more deep approach with gurgling basslines making for a subterranean sound on 'Sindrome De Volar.' KaioBarssalos's 'Detroit' then taps into a classic 313 techno style with shimmering pads and earth-shattering drums. Netty Hugo's 'Ecxtrem' is a pulsating cosmic closer.

Sicion - "Breaking Point" (5:35)
Review: Relative newcomers Sicion and Kuss combine their skills on this new outing for the Molekul label with two collaborative cuts and one solo outing each. Their opener, 'Dissolve To Evolve' has a dark tribal energy to it and a sense of cinematic tension from the haunting pads and echoing effects, then they double down on the vibe with the equally muscular and chunky 'Ego Death.' Kuss's 'The Ride' is a pent-up and funky bumper with smudged vocals and psychedelic synths, then Sicion's 'Breaking Point' shuts down with all the menace of a late-night runaway train.

Review: The Vuo label comes correct with another heavyweight vinyl 12" that features a trio of techno talents. Ohm & Kvadrant join forces first up for the mighty 'Under Krystallen' which is a brilliantly textured and enthralling dub techno cut with brilliantly loopy bass swinging down low and rattling chords melting off to an infinite horizon. On the flip is Trackmaster Shuffle with 'Under Strobe' which is a more amped-up and techno-leaning cut with pent-up energy and darker bass rumbles. Two tasteful and timeless cuts for heady crowds only

Review: Six dance tracks skillfully blending old-school vibes with contemporary sounds, spanning acid, breakbeat, electro and house, inviting listeners to dream of underground raves and enigmatic gatherings where ethereal battles against soulless algorithms unfold amid nocturnal dance. Highlights include Trabuco's 'Happy Spliff, a vibrant mix of New York house and early 90s-inspired techno, setting a nostalgic yet fresh tone. Trabuco's 'Signals' follows, delivering a spacey techno experience that feels both futuristic and retro. Yepecc's 'UFO Camp' seamlessly combines electro and acid for a sci-fi romp that transports listeners to otherworldly dimensions. Kevin Kendall's 'Volca Three' stands out with its rich analogue bass, adding depth and warmth to the compilation. The album closes with Victor Reyes' 'Inspired By Nature,' which offers a cool, bouncy finale that leaves a lasting impression. Overall, The Sciences of the Artificial is a refreshing take on retro styled techno and it is perfect for those seeking a blend of nostalgic and fun.

Review: Fantastic Planet (which is also the name of a great 1972 sci-fi flick) is back with a powerful new collection, Survival Mode, which goes way beyond music and is in fact dedicated to the fight for freedom in Georgia. It draws on a diverse lineup of visionary artists who serve up sounds that embody resilience and resistance and call upon the instinct to persevere when all other options are gone. For those in Georgia fighting oppression, it's about unyielding determination to defy silencing forces, and the power of that translates into the music. All four cuts are cutting-edge techno sounds with jungle breaks, empowering spoken word slogans and beats that give you the energy to stand tall.

Review: Passing Currents aims to stand out from the predictable by offering a deeply human touch in its music. This five-tracker backs that up by melding academic expertise with dancefloor intuition and the A-side features txted by Phil Moffa remixed by Yamaha DSP coder okpk after they met during doctoral studies, they flip technical mastery into bass-driven energy while Atrevido' fuses California warmth with analogue electro, Josh Dahlberg's rediscovered 2009 electro gem, 'Ass On The Floor', still bangs and Detroit's Kevin Reynolds delivers hypnotic grooves before Hazmat Live pushes boundaries with a sound rooted in soulful, experimental innovation.

Myriad different mods, grooves and tempos are on offer here starting with the puling rhythmic depths of Vardae's 'Pahlevan' then moving on to Kick21's 'Bright Interface', a dark and haunting low-end wobbler. Atavic's 'Subconscious' is a heady one with ambient cosmic pads over deeply hurried, supple rhythms then while Tammo Hesselink & DYL combine to mesmeric effect on the carefully curated broken beat brilliance of 'Accent Award.' A forward-thinking EP for sure.

The artwork reflects his diverse explorations and influences which converge here into a cohesive sound designed to ignite movement in the club. This album revisits the essence of his early work and is rather reminiscent of his debut on the experimental label Raster-Noton but it also incorporates the hypnotic elements characteristic of his DJ sets. Continuously evolving his sound and pushing the boundaries of the genre, all 10 of these tunes are mend melting and atmospheric rollers speed in great sound design.

Review: Fresh from launching their Voam imprint via an EP of clanking, mind-mangling industrial techno workouts, Blawan and Pariah don the Karenn alias once more for their first full-length outing. In keeping with their fuzzy, hardware-based approach, "Grapefruit Regret" is fiendishly forthright - a buzzing, crackling collection of club cuts built around armour plated kick drums, creepy and dystopian aural textures, chunky basslines and hypnotic, opaque lead lines. Occasionally it sounds like the product of two guys banging bits of metal against towering Brutalist buildings, at others the breathless soundtrack to illicit raves in car parks beneath crumbling Soviet-era municipal buildings. Throughout, it delivers some of the most intense and intoxicating techno jams of the year.

Review: Since delivering his debut album on PNN a decade ago, Matt Kent AKA Matt Karmil has proved adept at adapting the club-focused sound of his EPs to the long-playing format - as his inspired and wonderfully atmospheric sets for Idle Hands and Smalltown Supersound prove. He continues this notable run of form on this Studio Barnhus released set, crowding ultra-deep, dusty grooves in opaque chords, cut-up sample snippets, lo-fi crackle, hazy ambient textures and nods towards a myriad of ear-pleasing electronic styles and sounds. Highlights are plentiful, with our picks being the dubby, mind-altering late-night hypnotism of 'Still Something There' and the becalmed, meditative ambient deepness of superb closing cut '15 Mins' (which, confusingly, is just 13 minutes long).

Review: Legendary video game soundtrack-er Motorhiro Kawashima is best known for his efforts on the iconic Streets of Rage 2 and 3 titles. The latter is remembered as one of the hardest to define scores of all time, certainly in terms of a playable titles, and even 30 years on still amazes and baffles anyone who encounters it. Less well known are the artist's solo and standalone efforts, which came much later. Acrobatizm and Prepared Wave were the first two of those records, and emerged in the pre-pandemic late-noughties. Both draw heavily on the glitch and leftfield experimental techno worlds, which were in rude health at the time, doubling down on staccato rhythms and mind-blowing arpeggiation, with the punchiness and jerky vibes more than nod to the glory days of 8-bit gaming.

Demo Vectors showcases Kero's sonic range-bouncing back and forth between IDM fractures, broken electro shapes and an all around low-end forcefield. Splicing machined modular tunes with syncopated rhythms and Detroit-inspired slivers, Kero's fingerprints can be found on imprints like Blueprint, Wild oats, Ghostly International, Shitkatapult, Semantica, Touchin' Bass, BPitch Control, and many others.

Review: As of now, Kiasmos - the duo of Olafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen - are superstars on the international progressive electronica circuit. It crept up on us that they've only released one other album to date, with the bulk of their output having been limited so far to EPs and singles. II is the follow-up to its apt nominal counterpart, Kiasmos (I), and yet this time hears the pair strike out against the stark piano and electropop influences for which they were initially celebrated. Another key difference is that while the first Kiasmos record was made in the space of two weeks - getting at the sense of effortlessness that might accompany the initial burst of inspiration felt by artists when they start a new alias - II was made over the course of ten years and charts a remarkably different approach to music production.

Review: Kiasmos is the duo of Icelandic composer olafur Arnalds and Faroese musician Janus Rasmussen. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of their iconic debut album, it now gets reissued on a limited blue vinyl pressing of only 2000 copies. This album has been streamed over 100 million times on Spotify and is a cornerstone of experimental and ambient music that has inspired many artists around the world. Following the success of their recent album II, this anniversary release reminds us of the pair's beginnings when two friends were simply experimenting and creating music together in the studio. It has aged well and prices a great release from busy modern life into a world of supple rhythm and delicate, tender melody.

Review: Kike Pravda is back on his Senoid Recordings outlet with a new album one year in the making. The eight cuts find him further hone in on the essentialness of techno with nice hardware textures and that lived-in analogue feel that always elevates things. 'The Chaos Of Silence' is an intense opener with loopy bells and dark bass, 'Sequential' sounds like a futuristic factory floor at peak production and 'Late In The Night' is classic deep space afterparty minimalism. A proper album that covers plenty of ground.

It runs the gamut from pure, dark and driving Detroit style techno to more other and astral electronics, cosmic sounds and bubbling house. The likes of 'Seven Samurai' brings crisp drums and rubbery basslines to future facing synths. 'Hidden Fortress' has a dark edge and more menace in the drums. 'Trying To Come Home' is a lighter vibe with its head up in the stars and day dreaming. A complete work, then.

'Layer One' comes on double vinyl and opens with 'Ultimate (feat Coby Set)' which is an atmospheric opener with icy synths and sparse landscapes, then 'Escape Valley' explores kinetic rhythms and glitchy synths, 'The Vanishing' is another exploration of a distant corner of the cosmos and 'The Machine' brings more cinematic and evocative electronic designs.

We Grow They Decline is surprisingly more restrained than you'd expect from Kobosil given his reputation as a DJ and of course those pretty fierce EPs he released previously on MDR and Unterton. Most tracks on here are slower, deeper and reflective takes on the techno sound and show a sense of maturity in this emerging talent's studio prowess. Highlights include the sombre and vertigo inducing slow-groove of "Reflection", the avant garde tribalism of "The Exploring Mountain" and the throbbing EBM crossover of "The Living Ritual".

Review: You might say the clue is in the name, but as well as bearing a nice selection of differently cut beat action, this double album from French/Syrian producer Ahmad Qatrami aka Konalgad on New York's Dance Data label, is also a nicely cerebral affair jammed with celestial adventures for mind as well as feet. It refuses to get stuck in any stylistic rut, from the cloud-like ambience of 'REM' to the brooding bass and dubby stepping of 'Subzero Experiment' and the simmering shimmer of 'Dots To Dots', half digi-dub thump and half subtly filtered junglist trimmings, it keeps on giving something new right to the end. Konalgad apparently translates as "the universe of tomorrow" in Arabic, and this artist definitely has a bright future to match his already quite impressive track record.

Review: Kraftwerk never bothered releasing a standard 'greatest hits' album. Instead, in 1991 they offered up The Mix, a set of brand-new digital recordings of some of their best-loved tracks. It received a lukewarm reception at the time, in part because it was marketed and reviewed as a remix album (which it isn't), but it's actually a thrill-a-minute romp that has formed the basis of their live shows ever since. It contains some fantastic re-arranged takes on such familiar favourites as 'Radioactivity', 'The Robots', 'Computer Love' and 'Autobahn', the latter of which is quite radically different (and, surprisingly, jazzier). This time round, it comes presented on ice-white vinyl and comes accompanied by a smart looking 20-page booklet.

The A-side suite of 'Boom-Boom-Tchak', 'Techno-Pop' and 'Musique Non-Stop' provides the perfect mix of clanking, metallic electro percussion, addictive melodies and sassy synth-pop sounds. 'House Phone' - an alternative version of 'The Telephone Call' - is also amongst the German band's heaviest, most club-ready cuts, thanks in no small part to Francois Kevorkian's superb mixing.
