Customizable Command

Using the FS-1-WL editor app on your computer or smartphone, you can change up the pre-configured setups to operate just about any software application or MIDI device. Assign keyboard commands to the footswitches, either single keystrokes or combinations with modifier keys like shift and control. Or call up MIDI mode and set up custom PC and CC messages for your devices. You can also create a library of configurations for different needs.

Built Like a BOSS

Backed by decades of BOSS design expertise, the FS-1-WL is comfortable to use and built to last. The footswitches are quiet and easy to press, with no click noises to interrupt your workspace or performance stage. Status LEDs provide high visibility and can be set to different colors with the editor app. Two AAA alkaline batteries offer up to 14 hours of operation on the move, and AC power is supported with an optional BOSS PSA adaptor.

Versatile Connections

Up to two external footswitches can be connected for expanded control with both MIDI messages and keyboard commands. And with an external expression pedal, you have continuous parameter control of any device that responds to MIDI CC messages. The FS-1-WL also features a TRS MIDI jack for wired operation of MIDI hardware devices.

So, KMA made a killer stereo ABY switcher to use in the workshop. In the process it was found to be so useful, it has been made available to the world too in a pedal format.

Whether you're looking to switch or combine your stereo input signal between two separate destinations or switch or combine two separate stereo input signals into a single output, the KMA Machines STEREO ABY pedal is a dependable little helper for your tonal quest. Created with a focus on durability, reliability, simplicity and hassle-free operation, this passive ABY switcher also features True Bypass active silent relay-based soft switching to reduce mechanical noise and unwanted pops and clicks when in use. So, all you have to do is choose your path and perform!

KMA's STEREO ABY features a fully passive design for the best signal integrity, along with True Bypass active silent relay-based soft switching. While that might be a hell of a wordy mouthful, what it means practically is that the audio signal itself is entirely untouched and without any colouration. Plus, you can use the device in either direction, for sending to different sets of amps or effects or for switching inputs/ instruments/devices into your chain.

However, the actual switching is taken care of by reliable and sturdy soft switches as a separate active circuit. By employing this switching technology, mechanical noise is greatly reduced, as is the risk of those pesky loud c
licks and pops that have plagued so many boards and has haunted so many musicians, since the inception of ABY boxes.

Okay, besides just looking cool and fulfilling boyhood dreams of an army of robot bears with freaking lasers as eyes, the 3 distinct LEDs actually serve a practical purpose; to quickly and easily show you what signal path you've selected at a glance. Red for A, Yellow for B and Blue in the centre for A&B.
