Review: The Moonraver label is only young but is already in our 'keep an eye on' list after two fine first releases. After hearing this new offering from Daniel Messier, it will remain on that list too. The producer cooks up a silky minimal groove on 'Omani' that recalls early Villalobos with its smart layering of deft sounds, sines and fx. The PRT Stacho remix gets a more fulsome low and and more obvious wonky feel, and n the flip, 'Midnight Sun' keeps things fluid and free-flowing. Endemica brings a little more colour and neon melody to it with his remix.

Review: Russia's Moonrover Records triple up as a vinyl, digital music and podcasting platform, exploring the outer spatial limits of our shared cosmotic consciousness through sublime, interstellar minimal tech house. Here Stanislav Gontar aka. PRT Stacho crosses the event horizon, as 'Time' and 'Sputnik' offer flux-continual swells between otherwise calculated and regrounded beats. It's like gazing out the satellite window, as warp-drive thrusters on the hull's flanks illume junky space debris as it whizzes past.

Review: This release features a sleek blend of futuristic dance styles, balancing crisp production with atmospheric touches. The opening track presents tight, clean tech house grooves, punctuated by spacey sound effects that create an addictive, futuristic vibe. Its remix takes a more direct approach, incorporating a subtle 90s techno flavour while cleverly reworking the original's elements into a creative, space-themed journey. On the flip side, the second track leans into progressive house and techno territory with a meticulous production and a hypnotic, driving rhythm. The accompanying remix weaves in a sharp acid line and a euphoric, almost trance-like energy that elevates the track's impact, making for a great all round package.
