Through a highly intuitive and fun control set, this compact real-time reverse effect allows the user to instantly change the clock speed of the entire sonic system on the fly, letting you achieve sounds ranging anywhere from classic reverse, vivid harmonies to faded lo-fi memories.

BL-44 is a true reverse effect, meaning it will write what you've played to memory, then read that memory from end to start and play it back for you, but with added depth and harmony from the interaction of the Clock slider and Speed knob. It aims for an immediate and tactile experience that encourages the player to keep their thumb on the slider and experiment.

The magic, the extra twist, the je-ne-sais-wow if you like, all comes from the Clock slider. This slider determines the thinking speed of the digital signal processor and sets everything related to time. It determines the sample rate and the overall length of the reverse playback and as you slide it, you feel the pitch slide and resettle. Just like you'd expect, as you play with the forces of time.

In addition, you have a Speed control, which will cause the system to read through its memory in unexpected ways, catching bits multiple times or missing pieces as it tries to read at speeds different from what was written. Plus, you have volume and mix controls and an on/off switch.

Notes: Seeking to unapologetically tear apart the definition of a chorus pedal, Old Blood Noise Endeavors have created the BL-82 Chorus. An ode to delay time, this is a device with a variable clock control to shift between recognizable shimmering chorus and chaotic modulated delays.

Two delay lines, modulated by opposite synchronized LFOs, are combined in parallel and the timing of the delay lines, as well as the speed and depth of the LFOs, are all determined by one tactile slider. This allows you to instantly open up the modulated floodgates on the fly and go from well-known waves, to deeply unknown oceans of sound.

BL-82 is a chorus pedal, technically. It creates a swirling shimmery sound somewhere between chorus and flanger from a mono instrument signal. Its two delay lines are stretchable, and that's where the pedal's genre blurs from chorus into modulated delay into trailing pitch bending uncertainty.

The control set for BL-82 is dead simple. A Clock slider sets the timing of the entire system. The sample rate that determines signal fidelity, the centre delay time and the speed of the delay modulation are all affected as the slider slides. The interface is rounded out with feedback, volume, and mix add to an immediate experience that breaks open the boundaries of what it means to be a chorus and allows you to further craft the undulations of this mesmerizing device.

With a wider control set that's complete with added sonic options, a lower noise floor, dual delay lines that play together in a multitude of ways, presets, MIDI and expression control over everything, Black Fountain Stereo combines a sonic powerhouse of creative delay tones and into a pedalboard friendly package.

Black Fountain Stereo emulates the sound of a spinning oil-can delay. This is a warm, modulated and a little gritty type of tone that's perfect for chorusing, doubling, slap back and long rhythmic delays alike. You choose the amount and rate of modulation, the tone and grit of the core voice, the two delay times and their feedback. Plus, to top it off the mono/stereo voicing of it all can be set exactly as you like and everything can be saved into presets, for easy recall.

The Rate and Depth controls sets the amount of modulation and speed, Tone shapes the warmth of the repeats, while Grit sets the amount of drive in the repeats. To help maintain the clarity of your tone or for more special effects, you can set the mix of volume of either the Dry and/or Wet levels. Space defines the mono delay mode or stereo width and adds diffusion past the noon position.

Separate controls are available for setting the Left and Right Delay Time as well as being able to choose between six subdivisions for each side when holding the Tap footswitch. That little Tap switch (surprise) helps you set the delay repeats in time with your tempo, while holding it down will give for infinite feedback. Optionally, it can also be used as a preset switcher.

A ramper is a device that creates motion on your expression-enabled devices. Simply put, the Expression Ramper HK allows you to pick two expression settings (point A and point B) and the way it moves between.

Following the success of the Expression Ramper X3 released in early 2024, OBNE are yet again expanding on the concept of expression ramping and present to you the Expression Ramper HK, an enhanced version of the expression movement shaper capable of manipulating expression-controlled devices with even more copious control and options.

With the Expression Ramper HK, Old Blood Noise Endeavors not only clads their top-selling utility device into a new graphical design originated by OKC art duo Holey Kids that makes it perfectly fit in with the rest of OBNE's latest utility series releases. Additionally, the familiar Expression ramper gets a Tap Tempo switch that can be used to tap in the desired LFO speed, overriding the knob setting for Rate.

It can either change settings in one motion or as a continuous LFO activated by a single footswitch. Just hook up the Expression Ramper HK to your expression-enabled effects pedal, simply pick your first expression setting in the A position, then your second in the B position and you're good to go. It's utilitarian, but opens up a number of sounds from your existing pedals.

Then, set Expression Ramper HK to move between A and B in one of six different ways. In Triangle mode, it glides in a linear Triangle wave sweep from A to B, while in Square mode it will make instant Square Wave jumps. Both Triangle and Square are LFO modes- you start the LFO when you hit the footswitch once, then stop it as you press the switch again. Alternatively, 1 Shot mode triggers a cool one-off sweep, where every press of the footswitch jumps from one position to the other. The speed of the LFO or 1 Shot movement can be set via the Rate knob or Tap Tempo button.

To access the hidden three alternative shapes the Expression Ramper HK provides, simply hold down the tap button while switching the shape toggle. Now the Triangle shape changes to Smooth Random, which repeatedly moves to a random spot between A & B in a linear fashion, Square becomes Sharp Random, which immediately moves to a new random spot between A & B at the start of each cycle and the 1 Shot setting becomes 1 Shot Random, where each press of the footswitch snaps to a new random spot between A & B.

These simple and intuitive features can unlock worlds of sound. For instance, if you have Expression Ramper HK hooked up to a pitch shifter, you can create classic Whammy-like octave glides in one-shot mode, stretchy modulation in Triangle wave mode or hypnotic pitch sequences in Square wave mode. Got an expression-enabled phaser? Turn it into a step-filter with Expression Ramper HK's square wave. Or maybe an expression-enabled delay pedal? Use Expression Ramper to create swelling Feedback waves in Triangle mode or jump between two preset delay times in one-shot mode. The list goes on and on and the possibilities are basically endless.

While it should suit most effects pedals right out the box, Expression Ramper HK can easily be configured for different polarity or types of expression pedal simulation by using the internal jumpers.

All of this goodness is packed into a highly compact enclosure, ensuring that you can fit the Expression Ramper HK (or several Rampers) into any setup.

Expression Slider HK is a fader for use with any pedal that has an Old Blood style expression input. It is built for convenience and tactile experience, allowing external control where you need it - on the desk of your studio, velcroed to a guitar strap, or wherever else a TRS cable allows.

This device uses a TRS jack with tip connected to the wiper of a 50K slider, and ring and sleeve connected to the other terminals. It works with all Old Blood pedals as well as pedals from Chase Bliss, Meris, Earthquaker Devices, Empress, Montreal Assembly, Red Panda, Strymon, EHX, and more.

No power is needed, simply use a TRS cable to plug the Expression Slider HK into the Expression input and use the slider as you would a knob or expression pedal. This really can give additional creative control to all sorts of pedals and other devices that have expression control, plus may also add functionality to some products that may have other options not directly accessible from the front panel or are hidden in menus etc.

Strap it to your mic stand to adjust your favourite setting without bending down, keep it at your studio console to control a parameter while tracking, use the indicators to mark your favourite settings or simply replace a knob control with a slider because let's face it, sliders are cool!

Notes: Realizing matching gaps in the market and their friends' workflows, Old Blood Noise Endeavors unveils their newest utility device, the MIDI to Expression Translator (MTET). MTET is a simple device for complex workflows.

It receives MIDI CC messages and turns them into expression outputs, allowing players to unlock MIDI control over their expression-enabled devices.

Where once there was only a foot, now there is envelope control, LFO control, snapping to preset positions: any MIDI shape can express an OBNE (or similar) device.

Language is hard: let's start at the start. Communication is complex, beautiful a real thorn in our sides. Many languages, dialects, standards. Some similar, some vastly different. A linear sweep, a barrage of Bits.

Music, of course, is meant to be the universal language, but Old Blood Noise Endeavors' devices don't see it that way.

The MIDI To Expression Translator (MTET) does exactly what it says on the tin. It receives MIDI messages from external MIDI devices and uses those MIDI messages to create four separate Expression outputs for use with external expression enabled devices.

MTET uses a 50k digital pot, wired for TRS connection with the tip active (connected to the wiper). It is assumed the external expression-enabled unit will apply to the sleeve and reference voltage to the ring. It is configured to communicate with other devices using this standard. Its primary purpose is to interface with Old Blood Noise Endeavors pedals and serve as a communicator between them and a MIDI controller. However, it will work with many other units that use the same expression setup as OBNE.

Notes: SCOOCH Tap Tempo is an external tap tempo footswitch designed for use with the Old Blodd NoiseExpression Ramper X3, Whitecap, and Blackcap.

Simply plug SCOOCH into the Tap In/Ext Tap jack with a TS cable and start tapping in your desired tempo!
