Review: The second release on this new UK based techno label belongs to Barem. This is a deep throbbing techno cut and holds 3 original tracks, 'Nylon', 'Looks' and 'Word Soup'. It is currently receiving massive support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Magda, Sean (Someone Else) and Troy Pierce. Also on this EP you will find a remix from Pheek (Archipel) that is built with some amazing beats and will charm you using the main track elements of 'Nylon'. All the tracks on this EP are dance floor orientated, ranging from peak time killers to early set movers. Let the music do the talking!

Review: Sushitech sub-label Pariter calls upon Ryan Elliot and Baby Ford to remix Leigh Dickinson's "Praise" - originally released back in 2002 on the UK producer's only credited release of the same name. Ryan Elliot goes deep in his remix, looping breathy vocals over stubbornly played keys and regimented percussion, while Baby Ford's version is a little funkier, lighter - but also melancholic.

Review: Russ Gabriel is the owner of Ferox and a techno legend in his own right. With releases on his
own label as well some of the worlds best techno labels such as Planet E, Djax-Up-beats and
Soma. Russ was first welcomed to Pariter with the release of 'Ferox Classics', bringing back some
long forgotten Ferox tracks for a reminder of just how good techno can sound. After the success
of this release Russ is back with 'Konacno', some tracks from 2007 which are sure to become firm
favourites and put Russ back on the map as an artist and a DJ.

Review: The likes of Steve O'Sullivan, Baby Ford and Norm Talley have appeared on the somewhat overlooked Sushitech sub-label Pariter since 2006. Its latest release comes from Romanian trio Lisiere Collectif, who bring the techno sound of Bucharest to you on the first installment of Unknown Credentials. Member Andu Simion is well known for his rolling and glacial grooves, and in conjunction with Bogdan Ardeleanu and Dan Gheorghe they serve up two emotive and soulful excursions. The untitled A side offering is a driving, hypnotic and overall evocative journey with an undeniable nod to the Motor City sound that you could imagine Delano Smith pumping out in the AM hours. On the B side it is a more parochial affair, yet well worthy - a bumping and funky groove that's right in line with their hometown's renowned sound.

Review: Pariter continues a stellar run of reissues with this refined and shimmering drop from Dutch deep tech maestro Makam. Originally released in 2011, Glacial Valley remains a timeless totem of immersive club music that manages a versatile balance which could suit a warm up, peak time or the farthest reaches of a session. 'Glacial Valley' certainly stomps along at a lively tempo, but if you were to pitch it down those shimmering chords would slide in so well in a mellower set. 'Clearings' is more obviously geared towards the laid back end of the night, but it still packs a punch where it counts.

Review: Deep, jacking Detroit house hero Norm Talley has become increasingly prolific in the past three years, pushing a brand of hypnotic, elegant club tackle that pushes all the right buttons. Of his many high watermarks, his 2010 track 'Cosmic Waves' is an eternal classic steeped in a crisp drum machine bump, teasing strings and dubbed out melodics precision built for maximum immersion. It's subtle but impactful, like the best deep house tracks should be. The remixes ably match up to the original too. Delano Smith's take is smooth and linear, with a gorgeous looping synth hook at its core, while XDB weaves a more mystical tapestry for those who like their beats served super-chilled.

Review: Xpansul (aka Santiago Ferrer) releases his "Backwards EP" on Pariter. It starts off with the eight minute "Sevolin Sarevolin", a track which twists and turns it's way along a simple yet catchy hypnotic beat, gradually picking up new elements along the way and delivering where it counts. On the flipside is another Xpansul track, "Blind Rhythem", using sharp and unique sounds over the riding beat. Xpansul draws the listener in and pulls off that big room sound which is sure to go down very well in the club. Tadeo also brings a superb remix to the EP, using the elements from "Sevolin Sarevolin" which have been stripped back slightly, and then adding a 303 bassline which draws the listener in and keeps you locked in to the groove. This EP is sure to grab the attention of techno fans from Spain to Siberia. This is sound art for the new generation.
