Originally formed in 1995, Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. have long been considered one of the pinnacles of Japan's psychedelic rock movement. Led by Kawabata Makoto, they've recorded a dizzying amount of albums, and so the odd reissue comes in handy to recognise where some of the most important works are. 2006 album Myth of the Love Electrique is the first Acid Mothers album to feature Kitagawa Hao on vocals, as well as crediting Tsuyama Atsushi with monster bass and one-legged flute. Never before released on vinyl and now available in various coloured editions thanks to Riot Season, this is a true gem for Acid Mothers devotees to get their hands on.
