Abduccion Amazonica vinyl

Astros De Mendoza is the brainchild of Alan Olivas and Diego H, aka Pirul and D2000. They formed in México in 2012 and have since committed themselves to a unique sound which draws on electronics and tropical traditions in equal measure to create curious, infectious grooves infused with Latin spirit. For this album, they connected with legendary Peruvian cumbia band Los Mirlos while on tour together and offered to remix their material with some choice guest producers, and Abduccion Amazonica is the end result. It’s a vibrant reimagining of the cumbia tradition while still delivered with the respect and passion the original music demands.
