Le Maitre Des Illusions vinyl

We might be wrong but Le Maitre Des Illusions could be the first solo 12" from Gilb'r since 1997! Seeing as he's been busy collaborating with I:Cube on the long running Chateau Flight and more recently on several 12"s with DJ Sotofett, not to mention overseeing the supreme Versatile Records, we can forgive him. And Le Maitre Des Illusions is a fine record for any self-respecting DJ to have in their arsenal, with the title track a supple, gliding house cut blessed with warm, seductive xylophone touches. It's the musical equivalent of a deep rub massage on the dancefloor. "Approaching Kether" is a more downbeat affair, the sort of cut you'd hear in a Brian Not Brian mixtape and spend hours tracking down. Nice moves Monsieur Cohen!
