Jennifer Loveless is back one year after her debut release with another fine techno concoction. Canadian born and Melbourne based Loveless says she made this one with "water, sweat, festival season and kick-ons galore" in mind, so the music is high octane tackle designed to make you move. The slamming drums on 'Syzgyzy (Scissor Me)' sure will make you do that, with big, heat-managed chords on 'ECC' bringing a Caribou feel to the beats. 'Backroll Buddy' is a lumpy, off-balance cut with heavy drum work and atmospheric crowd noises that put you at the heart of the dance floor while the hyper-modern loops, bleeps, melodies and kicks off 'B L U YOU' are utterly fresh and compelling.
