After dipping into vintage UK bleep era Warp on their inaugural twelve inch, the mysterious MCM crew return here, winding the clocks back even further to a previous chapter in house music evolution. The big track here is "Work", a retweaked version of the Chicago house classic from LNR which retains the originals raw sensation but adds some contemporary menace. This complemented by the Kraftwerk sampling acid reflex of "Megagrip" and the bass heavy update of early Detroit techno from Juan Atkins and Derrick May on "Risque Business".
