Joe 9000 Dub Records made a successful debut last year and has since put out a crucial follow up. The third missive from the label is from debutant Poyzun, who links with the eponymous Joe 9000 Dub for two killer hits that come, of course, with dubs. Jah Great is stripped back but effective, with a rolling drum line and fat bass, as well as some well delivered patois vocals. The same tune gets a heavy dub mix that is primed for sound system action and then 'Riot Dub' is a different vibe. It has pens, soulful leads bringing light to a more delicate and icy cold dub that has rattling hits and far sighted get that it's easy to get lost in.
