Living Eyes (Remix Version) vinyl

It's fair enough if you're just starting out to release 100 copies as it's likely you don't have the demand, but Radio Birdman - along with The Saints - are one of the most important Australian punk bands so this is a future collectible. Plus, it's a flashy way to enjoy the now definitive mix and master of Radio Birdman's second album Living Eyes. Living Eyes was recorded at a time of turbulence for the band. Not only were they in the midst of their 1978 UK tour, but they had also just been dropped by their label so you can hear that mercurial tension in the recordings, which ultimately makes it more exciting to listen to. Unfortunately, the band split up after recording and it took until 1981 for this to get its first release, but they can be proud to have gone out in a blaze of glory with an album this vital. And it's testament to its strength that it's getting revisited now and that this remix version, originally released in 1994 on CD, is on vinyl for the first time.
